A nurse and doctor came into the room when they got the alert that peter was awake, and saw wade standing in his room.
"How are you standing right now?" the doctor asked.
"Um, my legs aren't broken." Wade couldn't help being sassy.
"You're badly burnt, and your not in pain?"
"Nope. I've been like this for a while. I'm fine, no more questions please. He's my soulmate and just woke up I kinda wanna get to know him."
Everyone exchanged looks but didn't say anything. They were shocked at him saying soulmate, and that he wasn't in any pain.

Peter was released from the hospital, aunt may was absolutely thrilled to get that call and was on her way to pick him up.
Peter, Harry, and wade sat outside waiting for aunt may.

"So, Peter. I should probably apologize for all the times I got hurt. You felt all of that."
"Yeah you get into a lot of trouble."
"Well, yeah, my job is kind of dangerous." He nervously laughed.
"What do you do?"
"How to explain it, I help, no, I do all the dirty work that people need to get done but can't do it themselves." He rubbed his head awkwardly, not wanting to tell the truth.

"Oh, okay. I'm a freelance photographer, I hope to work for the newspaper soon."

Wade was remembering the time he ran into him at the park, and how he felt the pain when the masked person was in the fight. He put the pieces together and figured he is the masked person, and might have powers like him.

But he didn't say anything, he didn't want to give away his secret identity.
"Wade?" He tapped his shoulder.
"What?"
"I asked how old are you?"
"Oh sorry, I was thinking about stuff. I'm 18, you?"
"I'm 16."
"Awe, you're so cute."
He blushed softly and then cleared his throat.
"I'm only two years younger than you, and I'm not cute."
Aunt may pulled up before wade could say something else.

"Do you need a ride anywhere?"
"No I'm good. But hey, could I um get your number?"
"Y-Yeah of course."

Wade waved goodbye as peter and Harry drove off with aunt may, a big smile on his face the whole time.
"He's so cute." Then his face turned, "to bad my ugly mug has to be his soulmate. Anyone else would be better for him."

"So peter, who was that?" Aunt May asked.
"Oh um, his name is wade. He um is my soulmate."
"What? How?" She brake checked quickly then continued driving.
"People found his body and brought him back to life, when he woke up so did I. And for some reason he ran into my room to hide from the doctors, he said he didn't need treatment, and then Harry punched me in the leg and he felt it too."
"Hey I was helping." He interrupted.
"Whatever."
"Awe, Peter,  I'm so happy for you. When are you going to see him again?"
"I don't know, but I have his number."
Just then his phone chimed.
"Speak of the devil." He smiled.

Text: Hiya petey. Wanna meet me tomorrow for a date?
"What did he say?"
"He wants to go on a date tomorrow."
"Go for it man."
Text: where at?
He texted back very quick. Text: let's meet at the park. 3pm.
Peter couldn't stop smiling.
Text: Okay, I'll see you tomorrow.

The nickname didn't even bother peter, he liked it.

The next day, wade was getting ready for his date. He took a shower with coconut body wash, and he washed everything. He didn't want a single part of him to smell bad.
He stole some high end makeup to try and cover up his scars, and it worked.
"Wow, I'm only slightly hideous now."

He texted peter to let him know he was on his way to the park.

Peter was still at home freaking out on what to wear.
"Aunt may I can't go, I don't have any good clothes."
"Nonsense, you have a nice shirt on now, but maybe cleaner pants, those have a stain."
"Oh no." He ran upstairs and changed his pants.
"Okay good?" He said as he ran back down.
"Much better. Have fun peter."
"Thanks aunt may."

He climbed buildings to get there faster, wearing a newer suit that looked way better than the hoodie. He was Spider-Man after all, he had to look good if he was going to help people, but also keep his identity.
He was better with his spider sense now, he could tell when no one was around and dropped down into an alley. He changed from his spider suit to street clothes.
He checked his appearance with his phones camera and with softly pink cheeks he walked towards the park.

Wade was sitting on a bench, but peter didn't notice him because his scars were covered.
"Peter, Hey." He waved both hands in the air.
"Wade? You look different."
"Yeah, I have makeup on. The scars usually scare people."
"They don't scare me, you didn't have to cover up."
"Really? Okay then." Wade blushed brightly at that.
"um how do you have an arm again?" Peter pointed to his new found right arm.
"Oh that, it's a prosthetic. My friend makes them and gave me one so I'm not a one armed weirdo." He lied, but smiled through it.
"Awe that's nice, but you're not a weirdo."
"If you say so."

They walk around the park and talk, getting to know each other.
"So I was lucky to have survived, and I'm really Sorry you had to deal with that. I'm a bad soulmate." Wade frowned.
"No, stop that. It's not your fault. This guy is truly evil, and someone will catch him eventually." Peter was already planing on how to catch Francis.

They soon go to a restaurant to have dinner. Wade actually brought money, it was assassin money but peter didn't need to know that.
They sat in a booth and ordered their drinks.

"So, this is a good place right?" Wade asked.
"Yeah this is great, I've actually never been here." Peter scanned his surroundings then settled back on wade with a small smile.
"Well you'll love the food."
"There's not much I don't like, I love food."
Peter laughed awkwardly.
"Wow, where does it go? You're so fit."
"I have a very high metabolism, and workout."
"That's awesome, I've been needing a workout buddy."
"Here are your drinks, still a need a minute to order?" The waitress asked after placing the cups.
"Yeah." They both say.

They flip open the menus, Wade has been here a few times and knew what he wanted.
"Jalapeño burger, oh yes." His mouth watered a bit at the sight of the picture.
"That sounds good."
"Do you like spicy stuff?"
"Yeah, jalapeños aren't that spicy."
"Okay."
They fold up the menus and the waitress came over a few seconds later.
"What will it be?"
"Two jalapeño burgers please."
"Curly fries or seasoned fries?"
"Curly fries for me." Said wade.
"I'll have seasoned." Peter answered.
"Alright It will be out in a little bit."

After they ate and talked more they went for another walk.
"I've had a fun time with you." Peter spoke softly.
"What was that? I don't think I heard you with that quiet voice."
"I had a fun time." He spoke louder.
They both blush.
"Me too."
Wade slyly grabs his hand peter flinched at first but intertwined fingers with his.

The sun was starting to set the sky changed colors, it seemed like the best time to end the date. It was a beautiful end, to what both hoped would be the start of something amazing.
They walk to peters house holding hands the whole time.

Standing on the front porch, they stare at the ground between them.
"This was a really fun day. I hope we can do it again." Peter says.
"Yeah, me too."
"Well um, I guess we say goodbye." Peter scratched his cheek softly.
"Yeah, we can't just stand here all night."
"I'll text you."
"And I will answer back."
They turn away, Peter is halfway through the door when he gets pulled back out.
Lips on his and he melts, his hands find wades hips as wades grab his face.
His face was totally red when they pull away, Wade was smiling ear to ear.
"Have a good night peter."
"You- um, have a good night too."
