This new information swirled in my head, causing me to lose focus on everything around me. My mother...used...dark magic? What had redeemed her, then? Was it my father? Or perhaps she hid her double life the entire time. There was also the possibility that Pan was lying.

He hadn't sounded like he was lying, though. The ferocity that was held in his green eyes as he told me what my mother had done...it was like a hurricane, unwavering and terrifying. But the way he described it...it almost intrigued me. What could I do if I had the power to rip a soul from a body? I would use it for good, of course. Only good.

"Don't be afraid. Be flattered. If you possess the magic needed to grasp a soul, I'd say you're well on your way to becoming quite feared in every realm." Pan said, casting a sideways glance at me.

"I'm not afraid. And I wouldn't use my magic for bad. I'd use it to get rid of people...like you." I said, suddenly plunging my hand into Pan's chest. If there was a time to learn how to "grasp souls" it was now.

My hand didn't even make it halfway into his chest before he caught my wrist, gripping it tightly while smirking cockily. "Cheaters never win, love." he whispered, his hot breath fanning my face.

I wrenched my wrist from his grip, glaring up at him as I did so. Pan continued to speak, his voice low and almost...threatening. The pounding in my heart grew so loud I thought my heart would just explode. "I thought we were getting along nicely, " he said, smirking, "it's a shame I was wrong."

"Getting along nicely?" I questioned, laughing bitterly, "You're keeping me here. Against my will."

Pan shrugged, and with a wave of his hand, I was on the ground beneath the tree house, a cage-like structure materializing around me. It seemed to be made out of bamboo or something like it.

"What are you doing?" I demanded, grabbing the bars of the cage.

"Well, I can't have someone who just tried to kill me running around my island, now can I?" Pan quipped as he dropped from the tree, his voice smug as he took a step back from the cage. Suddenly turning to the thicker part of the forest, Pan called, "Boys, you know where to take her."

About four boys emerged from the line of trees, including Felix, who as usual, held no emotion in his face. Each boy grabbed a corner of the cage, and I was lifted into the air, being taken away from a very cocky-looking Peter Pan.

"This was a test, love. Sadly, " Pan said, pausing, "you failed." And then he disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.

As the lost ones trekked through the jungle, anger began to set in. How dare Pan cage me? He knew quite well that I couldn't go anywhere without him knowing about it. But no, he had to flex his muscles once more, using his stupid powers to terrorize me. Had I tried to rip his soul from his body? Yes. I had. But compared to the crimes he's committed, mine was child's play.

"Felix, " I tried urgently, grasping the bars of the cage, "Come on, you're not really going to follow Pan's orders, are you? I mean, we'd been getting along so well."

This was half true. Felix and I had exchanged a few words over the past week or so. It was a big step up from the cold stares he had previously given me when I'd first arrived.

Felix's steps never faltered as he continued the journey to wherever Pan meant to place me. "That's what Pan told you, Tiger Lily."

"Yeah, but this is different. Pan and I were never friends. You and I are almost friends...right?"

When Felix didn't answer, I sighed in defeat, slumping against the cage.

Alright, alright. Maybe I was a bit harsh trying to kill Pan. But he threatened my father, Baelfire, and myself. Multiple times. Not to mention, he's forced the lost ones to stay. I'm sure some of them don't exactly enjoy it here. Neverland is brutal. It truly lives up to the legends about it.
