                          Eden's POV

The alarm rings loudly into my ears indicating it must now be 8am. This horrible sound biting at my ears is the last thing that I would want on a Saturday morning, which is the only time I can sleep in not caring about any problems or even that dreadful place called school.

I groan as I reach my hand out towards the source that's disturbing my precious sleep and when I finally manage to find it, I smack it with my hand causing the alarm clock to fall onto the floor with a quiet thud, informing me that I can now go back to sleep.

Curling into a ball by tucking my legs closer to my chest I try to trap as much warmth as humanly possible as the coldness of the air touched my skin.

"Eden! Get up!" My mother yelled as loudly as her lungs would let her as she was getting annoyed at my strong resilience of not getting up.

However, after a while I finally gave in and opened my eyes slowly as the bright light seeped in causing me to close them again. I tired once more to open them and succeeded but had to squint at first untill my eyes adjusted to the brightness of my room.
All that I could see was the mess that i have in my room due to not wanting to clean it all up.

"Eden!" She called again getting even more annoyed.

"I'm awake!" I yelled back so she would stop pestering me about waking the hell up. God can she be annoying sometimes but I still love her.

I stretched my body until I was satisfied and quickly rose from the bed, being careful as to not walk into anything that was laying on the floor and made my way to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth. When I left my room I took my meowing cat into my arms and started petting it the whole way down the stairs.

When I finally got down I walked into the living room where my dad sat on a chair closests to the kitchen. I put Lala down as I stroked her for the last time and sat down opposite my dad.

"Nice to finally see you up Miss. Lazy Butt." Dad looked up from his newspaper and chuckled at my messy hair and barely opened eyes.

"Yeah yeah whatever." I waved my hand in front of me dissmisng his partially funny joke while keeping my chuckles from escaping me.

"Come on Eden I'm just trying to lighten the mood. Saturdays always seem dull in this house." He smiled at me as he finally put the newspaper away and I repositioned myself on the chair to a much more comfortable position and finally let out a chuckle.

"That's the spirit. Laughter is the best gift anyone could give. Oh well Maybe except your mother's." I laughed with my dad as he joked about my mother's laughter but who could blame him she did partially sound like a dying seal.

"Now who's laughter wouldn't be the greatest gift?" Mom gave us a playful glare as she placed the aromatic breakfast in front of us. "Dig in I made it just how you all like it."

"No one's laughter darling and definitely not yours. Yours is a melody to my ears." He laughed out loud again causing you to nearly choke on the drink you were currently sipping.
Mom scoffed as she quickly leaned down and placed a quick kiss on dad's lips.

"Get a room you two." I made fake gagging noises at their show of affection.

"Eden, you do that all the time with Lucas. It shouldn't bother you by now." It was your mother's turn to laugh as you became red with embarrassment at the mention of your boyfriend's name.

"What do I hear about you kissing some boy called Lucas?" Dad asked slightly annoyed at the thought of me kissing some random boy.

"Don't ruin the morning by being grumpy darling she's allowed to have a boyfriend she's 18 now." Mom winked at me saving me from the wrath that my dad was going to bestow upon me.

The rest of the breakfast was spent with us joking around and finally getting done with breakfast so I headed back upstairs. While going up I received a text from my best friend.

Rushing to my room I went into the bathroom to take a 5 minute shower and to shave all the parts that needed shaving to at least look presentable.
When I was finally done I wrapped myself with a towel and left the bathroom to pick out my outfit.

In the end I decided to wear a short red dress that went just above my knees, black heels and a golden necklace as well as a black purse. After deciding what to wear I dried my hair and put some light make-up on that consists of gentle red lipstick, winged eyeliner and mascara.

Before venturing out of my room I went to my cupboard and grabbed eighty pounds to be able to buy myself a drink and some food. I was now ready to go but just as I was walking out of the house my mom stopped me.

"Wait! You forgot something!" She ran across the living room with something in her hands.

"Here. Your phone." She handed me my phone at which I sighed out of relief as she just saved me life by bringing it to me. I quickly hugged her as thanks and started to leave again.

"If you're meeting Lucas remember no sex before marriage my dear." She yelled out so that all out neighbours could hear giving us funny looks.

"Mom!" I yelled back annoyed as she clearly wants me to die out of embarrassment. This made me speed walk away from my house to finally go and see my best friend Anna, while hoping for today to be a great day without any problems.
