She hated the pulsing in her head after seeing the only one she ever cared about, ripped away right in front of her. She screamed.

She was traumatized by the fact she had killed, no, murdered over a quarter million in a few days. She had loved and lost and killed for the people she despised. Doing their bidding.

How could I live before;

She was slowly going mad. With all that red in her ledger. She knew he was the thing she wanted and needed. To survive. There was no survival without him.

How could I have been so blind;

She started to cut her thighs. High up do no one would notice. The memories of him she had been forced to keep were painful and unwelcome. She had become a pain addict or sorts.

She had been a simple girl in a screwed up word with only one left to guide her. She knew nothing of his whereabouts. Only she couldn't have children and she was a machine. Meant to kill.

He had truly loved her. Had hidden here from the others when she needed it most. Now they were all gone and she was to blame. Always her.

She could end it here. The cold metal pressed against her skull. A simple pull of a trigger. Death would be an escape. A place to hide from the world.

She was trapped with her demons and wish them away although they never went.

As the memories came more quickly so did the old pain. She drew more blood.

Blood. Brilliant red blood dripping onto white sheets.

Fear was perfect. She needed adrenaline so she could end herself. Yes. That was right.

As she got ready to sing again she noticed the silhouette standing in the door. Listening to her song. She shoved the knife and gun under her blankets and pillow but it was too late. He had already seen. But instead he simply finished the lyrics.
