(Run Away)
-(Y/n)'s Pov.-
"..." I hate life.
My parents grounded me for the whole mouth. It was one time, I never went to the detention before today. They took my phone and my TV... It's been days since I was in detention...
"... You know what..." I get up off of my bed and go to my closet.
I grab a backpack and went up to my dresser. I go through all the drawers, putting as much clothing in the backpack. I put my personal journal along with a pillow and blanket. I head down the stairs and go through the pantry. I put in snacks and instant-noddles along with other easy to make foods. I zip up the backpack and put it near the door. I go to the basement to grab the air mattress. I head up the stairs and place the box in my bag. I grab my keys and I decided to write a note.
"..." I leave it on the table and grab my coat after I put on my shoes.
"..." I unlock the door and walk out of the house.
"..." I lock and close the door.
I have my keys... in case I ever want to come back... I run down the street, I know where the place is... May doesn't think it exists anymore. That's probably why she dared me to go there... I run up to the building, the outer part of the building is covered in vegetation. I go through a broken window, surprisingly the interior was pretty clean. I go through my bag and grab the flashlight that was already in the backpack. I look around the abandoned building, it's possible that someone else might be here. I go through the rooms that catch my interest.
"Hm..." I don't find anybody...
"Why is this place clean then?" Maybe somebody was here, but they left.
"Well, it doesn't matter, at least I don't have to clean much right now." I set my stuff in a room that had a table and a chair.
There is enough room for the air mattress to fit in here. I take out the box and open it up. I place the deflated air mattress on the ground. I wonder if the electricity works still... I get up and grab the flashlight. I investigate more of the building, I find a room with a lever on the wall. A note was placed above it, I grab the paper.
"This lever is for the power generator, about every four hours the electricity will shut off. Make sure to pull the lever down every now and again, but don't over do it." Hm...
I place the paper on what seems to be a workbench. I pull the lever, suddenly some of the light came on. I walk back to that room, turning off the lights that aren't needed. I return to the room, it was dimly lit which was a plus. I plug in the small machine and start to fill the air mattress. I take out my journal and place it on the desk. I take out a bag of chips that I brought, I might as well eat something while I wait. This isn't so bad... it's actually quite peaceful. I yawn... I unplug the small machine and cover the hole up. I place the machine in the box and put the box under the desk. I take out the pillow and blanket, I put them on the air mattress. I want to write before I go to bed.

This place isn't so bad, even if I haven't been here for very long. It's pretty peaceful, nobody to bother me or disrupt my thoughts. Just me and my writing... I'll probably get sick of being alone though... I'll yearn for human interaction sometime down the road, but for now, I'm fine being alone. Besides, I doubt anyone will notice I'm gone or even care that I'm gone. I remember getting this journal with my Father on my seventh birthday. He asked me why I wanted a journal, I told him that whenever I leave this world I want something for people to remember me by.
He was stunned by my answer, but that's why I truly wanted this journal, but I also want to look back on my life when I'm older. Reading this when I'm older will be like watching myself grow up. Heh~... I won't be able to read this if I'm dead, but... that's not happening anytime soon... right?
"*Sigh*..." I close the journal and place it back on the desk.
I get under the covers as I look up at the ceiling... It's late... I should get to sleep. I close my eyes...
