"Hey, Edward. Maymay is asking me about you." Laura said while we are buckling our seats in the plane on our way to Hongkong. She shows me Maymay's text:
*MayMay: Hi Laura! Magkasama ba kayo ni Edward? Hindi kasi niya sinasagot mga tawag at texts ko kagabi pa. :( Nag-alala lang ako kung napano na siya.*
"Don't reply." I said to Laura. I intended to ignore her for two days before we left for Hongkong to surprise her. It's actually a perfect timing because we had a little argument over the phone because of what seemed to be a "confirmation" of our relationship in Iwant ASAP. She was worried that our manager will reprimand us AGAIN for 'confirming' because it will be a breach of contract to some of our endorsements and to Star Magic. Sometimes I'll tell myself, "I don't care anymore! I just want to show how much I care for her." But, that 'care' is also the reason that stopping me because I don't want anything that would put her in a spot that will risk her career and dreams. I don't want to be that person.
"You guys..." Laura shakes her head while laughing and continues "are crazy and two gigantic cheeseballs." She then asks me before she turns her phone to airplane mode. "You sure? I can feel that she is really worried na."
"That's the goal diba? To let her worry and then I'll surprise her." I smiled widely and my head plays what could possibly her reaction if she sees me after two weeks! After two freaking weeks! Two weeks! Okay, maybe almost two weeks but God! thats a long time! I can't wait to feel her warm hugs.
"Oh-kaaay. Whatever Edward, you lover boy." Laura acting like disgusted, doing her sibling-responsibility: to annoy and tease me.

As soon as we landed and opened my phone, messages won't stop popping. I smiled expecting all from Maymay but it was from Pat.
Pat:
*Edward, what time dating niyo?
*'Di ko na ata matatago kay May pa-surprise mo. Nag-alala na siya.
*Edward, baka mabuking ka, may nakakita sayo sa airport, nasa twitter na.
*Mangiyak na si May, i-text mo nalang kaya siya.
*Edward, paghindi ka pa darating tonight, sasabihin ko na kay May, mangiyak-ngiyak na pinsan ko. Patay ako neto pagnalaman niyang kinunchaba mo ako.
Before I open her other messages, Pat called.
"Hi, Pat. Nandito na kami sa airport, papunta na kami sa hotel."
before Pat could answer, someone said on the background.
"Dai, Edward na?" its May.
"Dili, si Jabien. Nangutana aha daw gibutang ang kaldero." Pat lied and panicked.
"Ha?" Maymay sounds confused but she continued "Hindi ba siya sumama sa taping ni Edward kahapon?"
"Jabien, nikuyog ka sa taping ni Edward?" Pat asked on the other line.
"'Wag mo sabihin Pat." I warned her.
"Hindi daw, May. Sige na, bye." Pat lied and then she hung up.

As we were on our way to our room hotel, my head can't stop playing the possibilities of May's reaction when she'll see me.
Scenario 1: She'll go run towards me for an embrace. I'll hug her. I'll kiss her.
Scenario 2: She'll startle and punch me like she always does and jump for a hug.
