He pushed me out.. Why would he push me out? He seemed uncomfortable with me asking for him to come over. I began walking back to my car. I texted him, "Dude what the heck was that?" Five minutes he replied
"I didn't want you to see the mess I call an apartment."
I could tell that was a lie, he didn't seem like the type of person to care about people seeing his apartment. "You're lying, I could tell. You started being awkward after I asked for you to come to my apartment. What's up?" I typed.
"Nun, I'm fine.. I'll be over. Whats your address?" He responded a second later.
"719 Norvmick Blvd. Be there at 6, kay?"
"Yea, yea. I'll be there."
I started my car and pulled off. Thank god Fiona isn't here, she would've tore him apart. I said to myself. Thirty minutes later I finally got to my apartment. I started cleaning up, putting Fiona's toys away, sweeping, you know the usual. After cleaning I plopped down onto my couch. My heart started beating quickly, but I know that if that was to happen I would die. Although I knew that, it still didn't put away this anxious feeling that I have.
"Why do I feel this way?" I asked myself. Not but a few seconds later I heard a knock at the door. I got up and opened the door. "Oh, hey Dominic... 6 o'clock already?" I joked.
"On the dot, can I come in?" I looked at his outfit which was much different from the one he was wearing when I first saw him. He was wearing a white shirt with a green jacket and black jeans with holes in the knees. His shirt looked almost like it was a tad too small. He seemed like he didn't mind but I felt my face fluster up.
"Y-yea, come in. You look really nice." I complimented as he walked in.
He stood near the couch fumbling with his fingers and smiled, "Thank you.." It was weird seeing a guy like Dominic playing with his fingers. I guess it's because he looks so tuff.
"You know you can sit down right... The couch won't bite" I told him.
"O-oh right, sorry...My mind is everywhere else right now." He sat down on the couch. He looked stiff. I stood behind him and put my hands on his shoulders and massaged him.
"Relax~ what are you so stiff for?" I asked, continuing to rub his shoulders. I felt him shiver.
He let out a sigh "I'm good... It's nothing, I just haven't hung out with a friend in a long time. I honestly forgot how awkward it is." He told me, his shoulders becoming looser with every word he said.
"When was the last time you was at your friend's house?" I asked
"When I was 13, I haven't had much friends since then." He answered
I stopped massaging him and sat next to him "So, you're the strong silent type huh? Always by themselves?" I joked.
"No, not really. I just could never find someone who I could really trust y'know?" He sat back into the couch. "But, besides that, I have to say your house is quite pleasing to look at. A lot of soft colors." He looked around the apartment
I honestly wanted to know why he couldn't trust many people but there was something inside of me that said to not ask. I laughed out of awkwardness. He was right, it feels so weird to have someone over. "Thanks, I guess.. Um do you want a drink?" I asked.
His eyes widened almost like he was hoping for those words to come out of my mouth "Yea, sure!"
I got up and poured 2 glasses of whiskey. That anxious feeling was still around. It lingered in the air, it seemed to worsen when I was near him. I gave him a glass and sat next to him.
"Thank you." He sipped on the drink. Which was strange because at the bar he would guzzle it down like it was nothing. I moved closer towards him.
"So, tell me about yourself. Why do you steal?" I asked
He then guzzled the drink down after I asked, "I was a broke college student. One day I stole some chips and stuff y'know so I could like get through college without starving. The rush that came over me was amazing. I haven't stopped since." He explained.
"You don't seem like the type to go to college, was that what those books were on your floor?" I finished my drink.
He smiled, "Yea... I studied psychology. Got out with a doctors degree."
I couldn't explain the amount of surprise that went over me. "I'm gonna get another drink for us." I got up and poured a larger glass.
The night went on with drink after drink. I seemed to get drunker while Dominic looked perfectly fine.
Dominic's POVIt was about 10 o'clock and Elliott seemed to be completely drunk.
"Hey Dom~!" He slurred
"Yes? Elliott?" I answerd. He moved closer towards me. I felt my palms sweat.
"Y'know, you're kinda cuttee~" He moved in closer. I moved away. My heart beating out of my chest. This is all happening too fast. He touched my knee, I shivered.
"I should take you to bed... You're really drunk Eli." I told him getting up.
"Whaattt~ I'm not drunk you're drunk!" He slurred. I picked him up bridal style and walked to his room. He giggled "Ohh~ Dom you're realllyyy strongg" He put his head on my shoulder. I felt like I was going to drop him.
Why can't he just stay still, I thought. He began to trail his finger over my chest. I opened the door to his room and layed him on his bed but he pulled me down with him. I was on top of him. He started laughing. I got up "I have to go Elliott. I'll see you tomorrow, right?" I said opening the door. He got up and pulled my jacket off.
"No, no, no, no! I'm officer you can't go out now, you might get hurt. My job is to protect you." He whispered the last part "Letting you stay here is protecting you." He continued. He pulled me towards the bed and pushed me down, forcing me to lie down. "Y'know, when you stole that money from the bank you said something... Do you remember what it was?"
I tried thinking back but I came up blank. "No, what did I say?" I asked
He crawled on top of me and whispered in my ear, "You said, you loved the thought of me riding you." He smiled. A shiver went down my spine and I completely regretted the fact that I said that.Word Count: 1150
