"Remeber when we use to go over there just for us to practice?" Gabe ask while pointing at the area  with the green light. It was the park.

"Yep. I could still remember that."

"And also, you injured your leg."

"YEAH!!!! How'd you can still recall after all these years?"

"You know... We've been inseparable before."

"Well, we can still be partners in crime. We can still bring back what is before."

"We can do that. But you know, we change everyday."

"Yeah. Right."

Then, there's a total silence.

I then look up, seeing the shining stars above. Yes, we were in a cliff, and its 7pm.

"Kaycee, I'm sorry"

"What are you sorry of? You didn't do anything wrong."

"I did something... Before.. You know, being a couple before and... I'm sorry for hurting you by leaving."

"It's okay. And I'm happy that we had the time to share memories together before. And I didn't regret anything."

"You do?"

"Yeah... Why? You have something to regret with?"

"Actually there is." Gabe says that made my brows furrow.

"I've been regretting every day that, 'why did I ever let go of Kaycee Rice?'.... That is what I've been regretting of. "

"Gabe-"

"Just hear me out, okay? I just want you to know."

"Okay..."

"Remember when we were helping Bailey after the amnesia thing?"

"Yes..."

"I know Sean was already building those feelings for you."

"Really?"

"Yup. And it really pisses me off that I want you to stay away from him."

"Oh I remember you being bossy around and telling me not to hang out with any guys, even the squad members!" I say.

"Yeah...."

"Then, what was your reason, Gabe?"

This was the question I've been longing to ask. And now, I think this is the right time for him to answer.

He heaved a breath and look up at the sky.

"It's because I was leaving."

Then , I reminisce that part. After we broke up with so many questions to ask,  I never heard of him ever again.

"A week earlier, mom wants me to leave because of my college plans and. I don't want to because I can't leave all of you but she left me with no choice. She pushed me to my limits to the fact that she makes me choose between friendship and future. I just can't give up 'US'! I just can't. But Kaycee, I told myself that I'll win you back when I come back. But, it turns out that I came back too late... Too late for you to find somebody else."

"Gabe, I'm so sorry..."

"No Kay. You didn't do anything wrong. If I didn't leave, would we still be together?"

"Gabe... I'm sorry for not waiting. And I'm sorry if I love Sean now."

"It's okay now. What happened in the past had already happened."
