"Damn y'all fools ain't tried of getting shot at, Fuckk! I said. That's the third time we done got shot at this week. But it was also my last thing to do before I was free from the game and I could finally go home. I couldn't wait to see my family and how much they have grown up. I couldn't tell them about this life. Had to keep them as safe as possible. I didn't have time to get them in the mix of all my problems. And My future wife told me she was pregnant again with my baby. I definitely had to get out of this game now. I love my family and I did what I had to. For them to be took care of. I was going back tonight or tomorrow morning for sure. About 20 minutes or so...We met up with my boss and we took care of the last things and I was out the door like sonic. Not look back. I had everything I needed which was my money and I was heading to my family.
Two hours later
So I pulled up to the last house we owned together. I hope this is where they still stayed. I was about to knock but shit I don't care. So I checked to see if the door was unlocked and it was. Walked in slow but when I seen someone fucking on the floor it made me want to sneak out. But I guess whoever was on top heard the door and looked up to see me nothing but shocked was written on her face. I looked closer and seen that it was my woman. She hopped right off this muthafucka and he groaned because the pleasure stopped. And without thinking I pulled my gun from my waistband and pulled the trigger.

The last thing I heard was ole boy tryna talk to but my head was spinning so fast I couldn't even focus on him. Till my whole world went dark. I passed out. When I woke up I heard yelling.
"Who is she? Why is she here? You fucked her huh? Did you Kash?" Some female yelled out. I walked out the room. Without looking up I went to a room where I heard East I smiled so hard because tears went He was still alive. I walked in a scared him on accident. I picked him up and rock him till he finally calm down. I figured he was hungry. I dig in the bag to get formula and a bottle of water and made him a bottle without leaving the room. I fed him and he back to sleep. I wanted to play with him but he was so tired. I got no reply. But I heard the door slam. And and moments later the door to the room I was in opened
"You good". I nodded.
He was about to close the door but spoke.
"How long was I out?" He turned to face me and we made eye contact.
"A hour or so. You hungry?"
I nodded.
"Come on."
I followed him to his kitchen and he looked at me.
"I can't cook. But you hopefully you can."
I walked around and looked in the fridge for something, anything. He had a lot to work with. I just decided on chicken and shrimp alfredo with garlic bread. He left the kitchen and I got started, 45 minutes later food was done I let him know that the food was done by tapping his shoulder and handed him his plate. I went to make mine. But I just sat it in the microwave and started to clean the kitchen. I want to do this so I could clear my head. I thought about school and work and a place to stay and daycare. I started to get irritated. I can't control this situation and I don't have money to be doing all of this. I didn't realize that I was banging pots and pan loudly till ole dude yelled at me.
"Yo you ain't payed for shit so don't be breaking it"
I looked up to see him looking at me. He walked closer to me and I stepped back he placed his dishes in the sink and started washing them. I watched him. "You can stop staring at me"He said. "Sorry" I said low.

"Karter" he answered. I felt his eyes on me but didn't look up.

"My street name is Kash but you can call me Karter; You going to tell me what happened?"
I didn't want to tell him. I didn't want to talk about it. Because it was my fault I should've went straight home. Then he would have been with me and would have been fine. But no I wanted to be grown and hang with big boys. I was being selfish and didn't think about my brother. I should've known some was going to happen. I can't help but to blame myself for the situation.

Thank god. I went downstairs to put our stuff by the front door. As I started to head towards the stairs. Kash grabbed by my arm and said
"You really leaving?"
I nodded. He pulled me and trapped me in between his body and the wall.
"You don't have to go I'll take you to school tomorrow morning and we can figure something out for yo baby."He said convincing me till the front door opened.
" I knew you was fucking this bitch." Hazel spat at us.
" Who you calling a bitch??" I said. Keeping the same energy she was given off.
