as jennie's body went limp, jisoo yelled at lisa to call the doctor and rosé was staring, tears forming at the rim of her eyes.

a few nerve-racking moments later, the doctors arrived and ushered the girls out, despite the yells and protests of wanting to see their beloved friend.

outside the door were three broken girls, each mourning in her own way. lisa put her head down and cried silently, rosé didn't care about the tears that were falling, and jisoo was just cursing out her frustrations.

the doctor came out, soon bombarded with questions which he only replied with a sad sigh as he looked away.

"no... no! that can't be! jennie's alive! let me in! she's alive! "lisa dropped to the floor as jisoo yelled at the doctor.

" i'm really sorry, but it was too much for the poor girl's body. "

and that day was the day when jennie kim no longer existed on the world.

it was jennie's funeral, rain pouring, matching everyone's mood. jennie's friends, family, and surprisingly, jungkook and tzuyu were invited.

after the ceremony, jennie's best friends decided to stay behind but were surprised to see jungkook and tzuyu still there.

jungkook looked depressed while tzuyu was clinging onto his arm. rosé's blood boiled and she approached the couple.

jungkook looked to his side and stared blankly at rosé.

"oh, hey ros---"

a loud smack resounded the area as rosé's hair covered her eyes. she breathed and out and looked at jungkook with a deadly glare.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE 'HEY ROSÉ' ME! YOU'RE THE FUCKING REASON THAT'S JENNIE'S DEAD, YOU BASTARD! IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU AND YOUR STUPID GIRLFRIEND, SHE WOULD STILL BE SMILING WITH US NOW! "

jungkook's eyes widen as he looked at rosé with confusion.

" wait, what? i thought she died of lung cancer, how the fuck is her death my fault?" jungkook asked, also starting to get angry.

"you fucking idiot..." lisa whispered and jungkook turned to her with his eyebrows furrowed. he gave her a look that said 'excuse me?'.

"JENNIE DIED OF HANAHAKI AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! " jungkook put the pieces together and dropped to his knees.

" what? no! no! that's not true, i truly loved jennie! i only dated tzuyu to make her jealous a-and now---" jungkook couldn't continue his sentence as his broke out in sobs but jisoo only stared at him, emotionless.

"if you just grew some fucking balls, then each of us would've receive our happy endings."

and with that, the girls turned around and left a weeping jungkook and a furious tzuyu.

months later, jungkook is lying on a hospital bed as he coughed out dead flowers and beside him, were his hyungs who could only stare sadly at him.

"jungkook, get the surgery. there's no other way, jennie's dead." suga stated.

" no thanks, hyung. i'd rather die so i can join her." jungkook bitterly laughed.

" bullshit, jungkook! look, we know you love her but you have to move on! would she want to see you, the love of her life, suffering the same fate as her?"

taehyung furiously stated as jumgkook went into deep thought before sighing.

" fine, i'll take the surgery." his hyungs smiled and went to get a doctor.

after the surgery, jungkook couldn't recall a single thing about a girl named jennie kim. after all, he was just a petal who fell from a dead flower, knowing it will never work out.
