Chaeng woke up pretty early and the memory of last night was still clear to her. Lisa was big mad at her for lying to them and she completely understands that. While at the living room, a hand held her shoulder.
"Chaeng-ah, can I sit beside you?"
"Jisoo-unnie. Of course! Come. Come." Chaeng hurriedly replied. After Jisoo sat down, Chaeng immediately asked the question she wanted to ask since last night.
"Are you mad at me unnie? you didn't talk at all last night" Chaeng worriedly asked.
"Nope. Disappointed, yes. Jen feels the same way. We already told you before to be careful. For you to disobey us, you must've really liked him. We feel responsible for this especially if manager-unnie knows about this." Jisoo honestly replied. Chaeng didn't know what to say. She knew she messed up. Big Time. But the thought that the members wasn't mad at her made her feel relieved in some ways. Well, atleast two of them.
"By the way... about Lisa..." Jisoo was cautious because she saw how wrecked the two were last night.
"Unnie, I understand Lisa. She was like a sister to me and I lied to her. I am so sorry about that." Chaeng said.
"You really think it's just that? Do you think Lisa would be that mad? You don't remember the date today don't you?" Jisoo said.
"Wae?" Chaeng was looking for her phone to check the date but she left it in her room.
"It's the 27th today." Jisoo answered the question for her.
"Lisa's birthday. Ohmo." Chaeng wanted to bang her head on the wall for forgetting. That is why the girls were awake at 2 am. They all woke up before 12 to greet Lisa's birthday but to their surprise, Chaeng wasn't in her room. The supposedly happy surprise became a night full of worry not knowing where Chaeng had gone and why she left. Chaeng felt so guilty for forgetting it. Just as she was on the verge of breaking down, Lisa went out of her room. Seeing Lisa, Chaeng immediately went to hug her.
"Lalisa! I'm so sorry. I'm such a stupid friend... and Happy Birthday." Chaeng said while crying on Lisa's shoulder.
"You finally admitted you're stupid. Thank you and I'm sorry too." The two were crying so hard while hugging each other. Lisa was disappointed, but she wasn't mad at Chaeng. She was just extremely hurt that Chaeng forgot her birthday because of someone. Jennie was woken up by the noise and the unnies were finally happy seeing the two reconcile.
That morning, while eating the food Jennie cooked for Lisa's birthday, Lisa asked Chaeng to open up about everything. "This will be your birthday gift for me" Lisa joked. Just as they requested, Chaeng opened up about everything. The meeting, the talks, the development. Just as she was finished, Lisa reminded Chaeng of something.
"Remember what I told you last night Chaeyoung-ah?" Lisa asked.
"... do you expect us to believe you're just friends when you yourself don't seem to believe you're just that."
"You better clear things out with him. It's clear that you like him. And from your stories, he seems to like you too... but it's better to be sure." Lisa suggested.
"but not today because it's my day." Lisa added while everyone laughed.
After the whole day full of laughs, and foods... Chaeng decided to text Chanyeol.
MESSAGE TO YEOL :) (yep, new contact name)
Can we talk tomorrow? In person?
Worried Chanyeol immediately responded...
ONE MESSAGE FROM CHANYEOL
Yes! of course! Are you okay?

The next morning, Yeol and Chaeng decided to talk at the rooftop of Yeol's old residence. Chaeng didn't wanna waste any second and went straight to the point.
"How do you see me Yeol?" Chaeng asked.
"Using my eyes?" Yeol joked but Chaeng seemed so serious.
"Okay, we're friends." Yeol seriously answered.
"We are but that is just how you see me? a friend" Chaeng asked again.
"No... no. Definitely not. Definitely more than that. You're more than just a friend to me. Way more than a friend" Yeol answered. Chaeng finally got an answer but there is something she is waiting to hear.
"Be specific Yeol. Lisa is more than just a friend to me because she is like my twin. Jennie and Jisoo unnie are like my sisters. Be more clear." Chaeng knew what he meant but she was waiting for the '3 word bomb'.
"Okay... okay." Chanyeol definitely sucks at expressing himself but he knew he needs to say it. It's what he felt anyway...
"I like you... like, I really really like you. a lot." Yeol said. All Chaeng said was...
"Finally!" then they hugged each other for a very long time...

Their 'Relationship' or 'Friendship' ? whatever you call it continued for more than a year. They definitely became a lot sweeter than before. Blackpink's manager was furious at first but seeing how serious Chaeng's feeling was, she eventually gave in. She knows Chaeng can be trusted and is a responsible girl. She just clarified that if ever they get caught, that would mean a big slap in Chaeng's career. Although, as time went by, Chanyeol seemed to drift away... He doesn't reply to texts as fast and seems to be distracted when they're together but he still is gentle and sweet to her.
