PRETTYDIRTY ⇄ NICK MARA

twelve.

rey woke up at 9 AM feeling the smell of pancakes, age walked down the stairs to find Nick making some. she smiled at him.

"hey.. where's everybody?" she says as she walks towards him next to the counter of the kitchen.

"i kicked them out" he chuckles as she slowly nods.

he finally finished and they ate together, ahe feels an awkward tension between them. this was their first time hanging out. it was really quiet.

"so.. you're going home today?" he asks her and she nods as she slowly chewed the eggs, she looks down at her plate. she wasn't expecting so much from this day. because we all know nick, he doesn't keep his promises no matter how small they are or easy. that's just him.

they didn't talk much through the breakfast but he told me that he had something special outside. they finished the breakfast and went to a festival which got my hopes up.

"wow.. thank you?" she says to him as he smile at her, she looks behind herself to face alexys and the others. of course he wouldn't spend the day with me. she's not jealous she thought, because she doesn't really love him.. she's just a fan right? oh yeah just a fan.

"hey babe" alexys says smiling at nick, he smiles back and greets her with a hug as rey  say hi to the others.

she looks extra long at zion as he smiles at her itching the back of his neck, she walks towards him away from nick and shake Zions hand for some reason.

"hey.." she says smiling widely and he greets her back as he's still staring into her eyes.

"you look nice"

"thank you" she says and blush and had completely forgotten about where she was and who she was with, she was focusing on zion. he gave her more attention than nick have. zion was her cheat lane, he just had this amazing smile you could die for.

"so how have u and nick been out today" she shrugs at his question. honestly, they've  barely done anything.

"great.." rey looked at the sky as she spilled out her words from her soft lips. she was always the sarcastic type, she didn't want to talk about nick today. it made her feel like a fool. a fool for flying all the way here to be with somebody she has loved for years but he gave her 0 attention. just some random homeless girl he tossed inside the house because he felt bad, that's how she felt like he was treating her.

she felt his soft hands in hers and she met his eyes because of the connection she felt when their hands connected.

"he's just.. himself sometimes you know, it'll be fine" he smiles at rey and she smiles back at his beautiful wide smile. the one she admired.

"take a picture of me" she says and he agrees and grabs her phone. she smiled widely as she stared into his eyes and he took the photo. he met her eyes instead of looking at the phone as he took pictures like normal people would, like normal people who didn't think the person infront of them was an angel they've been waiting for.

rey smiles and grabs her phone, she looks at the pictures he took of her and she smiled again because she actually looked good.

"i told you, you look pretty" he says smiling at rey and she gives him a soft hug, wrapping her arms around his waist. as she felt his hand on her head. she wanted to hug tighter.

zion finally let her go and he found himself looking into nicks eyes as nick gave him a death stare. the death stare of jealousy. "you gon do something about it?" zion asks as he shrugs looking at nick. he didn't seem happy about the two of them.
