another week passed and rey had spent another day with the boys.

"finally.. home. i'm super tired" rey rugged out as she glanced at her boyfriend zion. he chuckles at her and shook his head.

"but we still haven't gone to the mall, you promised me!" he wined out as i rolled my eyes. it was 6pm and i was exhausted. "ask nick or brandon.." rey replies to his puppy eyes as he sighed.

"everyone's out expect for brandon, i'll bring him with me" he shrugged and called for brandon and they finally left. i grabbed the chips from the counter and opened it as i poured probably 5 portion of chips into my bowl. rey brought it upstairs inside the guest room and laid on her favorite bed that she could call hers.

she put on glee and binge watched another episode after another. she smiled.

"are you kidding me?!" rey said really annoyed and threw her phone on the sofa. she felt frustrated because they never got anywhere. she wanted to be his friend but something was wrong. rey turns her head to see nick entering the room. she looks away again and loosens her body to fall back on her the sofa. she felt nick landing with his butt onto the bed. "what's up?" nick asks her and looks around her room. she sits up and looks down on the floor full of disappointment.

"i'm fine" she replies to nick. it felt wrong to be with him, she didn't know why it just didn't feel okay. she sighs and turns to nick.
"i'm fine but there's something bothering me" she says again. nick furrowed his eyes full of confusion.

"tell me about it"

she sighs one more time "i look happy with zion right?" she asks him nervously thinking why on earth she would ask nick that. he furrowed his eyebrows even more and chuckled.

"you do.. but if you'd ask me if you and him were right together that would be another thing" he swallowed really hard as soon as he let the words out his lips. he knew he did wrong. reys eyes are glued to the roof, she was trying to hold her tears in. "i am and he's right for me" and looks down again to face nick. her eyes were filled with water.

"why are you crying then?" he puts his arm
on her shoulder.

"because i'm happy" she starts crying, she said it was happy crying but it just made nick confused. he knew what she looked like crying because he had seen it too many times. way too many.

"rey stop calm down.. you're not" he stutters out. "i am" she tried to convince him but it was impossible. how could she convince him when she was crying? her head crashes onto his lap as she continues to cry. he hugged her.

"i just hoped for another path." she continues, nick furrowed his eyebrows and tried to bend his neck to face her as close as she could. "what on earth do you mean!?" he bends back as she turns her head up to face nick.

"i came here for you not zion.." she started to cry even more and it didn't feel right. nick felt a big lump in his throat. he knew it wouldn't help if he swallowed it. it hit him harder than he thought it would.

"rey.. i'm sorry" he says to her and now it was his turn to cry. "i know i messed up i know!!" he wipes his tears with his shirt.

"i'm trying to be happy with zion but i just keep-" she interrupts herself. "i just keep thinking about stuff.." she said and felt bad. she knew she shouldn't have thought about those stuff. "what stuff?!" he asked her with a little hope in his chest.

she took a deep breath and rolled her eyes. she knew it was bad.. it wasn't supposed to happen.
