Reminded

Luna's pov
It had been a long day so we couldn't wait for final bell. Just when we thought it was time to leave we heard an announcement on the speaker. "There will be a dance this Friday, please bring 2 dollars to get in, all the money will go to charity" the voice said. Jack leaned over to me. "Hey could I get in contact with Shezow again?" I jumped back. "You're asking Shezow to the dance aren't you?" I asked, shocked. "Not so loud, just please" He begged. I reluctantly nodded. I thought for a second. "She has an Instagram" I said as I created the account on my phone making sure he didn't see. "It called Shezowie, Shezow was taken" I added. "Thanks Luna" he said and walked off. I then looked for Xander to tell him what had happened. He was standing talking to Sol. I started to walk over but stopped once they were in earshot. " so I was wondering if you wanted to....go to the dance, I mean just as a fr" Xan said "sure" Sol replied, cutting him off. " hey guys, I hope I'm not interrupting anything" I said with raised eyebrows. Xander put his hand on his hip and Sol scratched the back of his head. "Well I should go to study" Xander said and narrowed his eyes at me.

Me and Sol arrived back at the shelair and I looked at my phone. I had a message in direct messages from Jack. I opened them and read them out loud. "Hi Shezow, I know this is weird but would you come to a dance at my school with me?" I read "it's alright if you don't, I mean you don't know me so it's ok if you say no". "Sounds like you have a date" Sol said. "Well I could say the same thing to you, you and Xander, what's that about?" I asked with honest curiosity. "Well he's gay and well I'm bisexual, I know him so it made sense" he explained awkwardly. I thought about it for a second. "Wait does that mean I am too?" I asked. "Good news I've made progress on the dimension portal" Shela said as she jumped into the conversation. "Really, how much progress?" Sol asked hopefully. "With luck, by the end of the day I can make a window to see into the other world" she said. "Ok well we will leave you to it, let's get something to wear to the dance" I said hopping to distract him.

We arrived at the shopping center and I finally asked Sol why he was texting Xander."I want to make sure we are wearing complementing colours" he said. "Oh I should respond to Jack, but do I want to go with him?" I said to myself. "I'm just gonna pick the most obnoxious hot pink thing I can find" I remarked. "You don't like dances, that's weird because I do!" He said. I wasn't really listening as I looked around the store for something Shezow would wear. "How about this?" I asked, looking at a dress that seemed short and had white ruffles. "I'll go try it on, then we can leave!" I said thankfully. As I walked into the changing room I looked at the dress. I got a text from Sol saying I should try it on as Shezow. I whispered "you go girl" and changed into the normal costume. Soon enough I was looking at myself in the mirror. The pink dress didn't have sleeves and instead only went over one shoulder as it draped over my body. At my legs it turned into layers of white ruffles that went half way down my upper legs. Another beep came in on my phone and the message read "can you send a picture?". I quickly took a picture in the mirror. The dress was nice and I didn't care so I changed back out of it and turned back into Luna.

I walked out of the changing room and went over to Sol. "That dress is nice!" he said. "Ok I'll by it quickly and we can go" I said. He nodded happily and we quickly bought the dress and then went to another shop. Sol insisted on picking the cheapest of the things I suggested and we eventually had everything ready. "We went back to the house and talked to Shela about the other dimension. "Ok attempting to open window now" she said. Sol looked hopefully at the spot were it would appear. It flickered into existence. I looked into it and saw people that looked hypnotized and everything was dark. "What's his motivation?" I asked. " I don't know, I don't know why anyone would do this" Sol replied and I noticed his voice waver. I looked over to him and he looked like he was about to cry. He was staring at the small rift. I placed a hand on his shoulder. "We can save them, being hypnotized doesn't hurt" I assured.
