New friend

Luna's pov
Friday came and everyone was excited for the dance. That morning I was fighting a villain, Cold Finger. Dudepow came along and we fought him together. I jumped to avoid an icy blast and threw my Boomerang brush at him. "Hey Cold finger, your aim is so bad I could avoid you all day" I shouted at him. As I dodged the attacks I saw Dudepow take out his nunchucks. As I landed a jump I pulled out my laser lipstick. "You're surrounded Cold Finger" I said. "Hey Shezow got herself a boyfriend!" he said mockingly. "Just because a guy and a girl hang out" Dudepow started "doesn't mean they like each other" I ended. We both ran at him with our weapons and he rushed away. "I'll get you next time Shezow" he said as he disappeared behind a building. I quickly rushed behind a tree before I changed back and then walked back to school with Sol. "Ok I'll go in first" he said when we arrived. I waited a few minutes before entering the class and then sat back in my seat.

When school was over everyone went home to their houses to get ready for the dance. I changed into Shezow and put on the dress and sol wore a shirt and some formal trousers. I detransformed and walked out the door with Sol and said goodbye to my mom. She hugged me "your father would have loved to see you out to your first dance" she said. When we finally left I went behind some bushes and transformed back to Shezow with her dress. I had decided to keep the beautility belt incase of an emergency. We walked for a while before one of us talked. "So are you excited to go to the dance with Xander" I asked. "I guess I just expected my first dance to be in my own dimension" he said but was happy. "What about you Shezow?Are you excited for the dance?" He questioned back. "I'm not really a fan of parties but Shezow is suppose to be outgoing so we'll have to see how this goes" I sighed

We walked in and I immediately felt a sense of dread. People were looking at me in awe as I walked through the room with Sol. Then the worst thing happened, Sol walked over to Xander and I was left alone. As the music played I looked around for Jack. Out of nowhere someone grabbed my hand and waist and started dancing with me. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" I asked angrily and looked up at him. He was intimidating, tall and was holding me tight. "Hey, sorry but I don't know you and well I have someone I'm going with already" I said as I looked around but no one seemed to notice us anymore. I tried to break away from him but I felt like I was weak and powerless. I must have looked it too as he then gave an evil smirk. "What did you do?" I nervously asked as I looked for my friends. "Sorry Luna but I can't let you help Sol I mean Dudepow, I hope you understand" he said in a smug voice. I started to feel like I couldn't stand much longer. "Hey, get away from Shezow!" Jack said and proceed to punch him in the face. He then looked at me. "Are you ok, you looked distressed" he said with a worried expression. "That guy wasn't normal" I said turning back to where he was but he was gone.

We got me some water and I felt normal again but was still worried about what had happened. We found Xander and Sol but they were so happy so I didn't disturb them. "Shezow, Tell me what happened" Jack said and sat me down on a chair. "This guy just started dancing with me and I think I started to lose my powers, he said he was going to stop me from helping Dudepow" I explained. "Don't worry, I'll stay with you" he said. "Thanks, that actually makes me feel safer but I have to find him, Sol might be in trouble" I responded. We started walking through the people and a lot of them looked as we passed."What if we wait and see if this guy goes after Sol?" Jack suggested. I nodded and saw them drinking some punch and talking. "So why is he after Sol, how do you know Sol?" Jack asked. "I don't know but whoever this guy was he knows me and Dudepow's identities" I told him. Jack looked shocked and I stared into his eyes.

"You know you don't have to help me just because you asked me out" I said to Jack after a while of silence. "I want to help you!" He responded and grabbed my hands. I jumped a bit in surprise but smiled. "Thank you Jack" I said and looked away as my face went red. That's when I saw the guy again. He had a full suit on and was tall for his age. "Jack, over there!" I said as I looked at him. "What's the plan?" He asked as he looked over to him as well. "I'm gonna dance, when I give the signal, shoot him with ice" I explained. "What if I hit you?" He asked. "No matter what" I said with a strict look back at him. I walked over to the guy in the suit and taped him one the shoulder.

"Care for this dance?" I asked trying to sound confident. "This does not seem like your smartest move Shezow, or did you forget what happened only moments ago" he said in his calm and threatening voice. "Yeah how about we don't do that again, I have a friend on the sidelines ready to step in so let's save us both some trouble and just work with me" I stated. "What do you want to ask questions?" He asked. "Yes, how do you know me and Dudepow's identities and who are you?" I questioned. "Dudepow told me his and from that it wasn't hard to tell who you were" he replied. "But why would he do that" I questioned further. "Well that's easy Shezow, I'm from Sol's dimension, I'm what you might call a friend of his!"
