Blank pages always look prettier.
I think it's because, in our heads, the words we write are ugly. Insignificant.
They don't affect the world, and therefore marr the page.
So we rip the pages out and keep the words to ourselves.
Until all that is left, is a scar. Reminding you every time you open the book, what you could've said.
