"W-what's going on here?" I sputtered as I looked at Percy. "Percy, wha--?"

"Happy birthday, Wise Girl." He said with a smirk. I gasped. Had I actually forgotten my own birthday?

"Oh, wow, Percy." I hugged him. "Did you arrange this?"

"Yes." Percy looked a bit embarrassed. Chiron was gone by now, and we made way to his cabin. When he closed the door, he walked over to me. He brushed my hair back over my ear and kissed my cheek. I laughed and blushed slightly as I smiled and I bowed my head so my hair covered my face.

"I love you, Percy." I whispered in his ear, making him shudder.

"I love you, too." His beautiful sea-green eyes were staring directly into my eyes. I felt blush creep up my cheeks even more, and I looked away.

"Annabeth?" He lifted up my chin. "Why're you here so early? You usually don't come until next week."

"Erm. . . ."

"I-I'm not complaining, but what happened?" He looked genuinely worried.

"Me and my stepmom had a row." I muttered. Tears once again formed in my eyes. Percy made a mournful noise and pulled me into a hug.

"Annabeth, If you want, my mom would probably let you stay with us over the school year."

"Th-thank you, P-Percy." He laid me down and laid down himself. We cuddled until I fell asleep.
