He went to go see Liam because he knows he's been working on a case for a couple of nights no sleep
"Hey Barry" Liam says
"Do you have any idea how long it's been...a week" barry said
"It's been a week...I got a little distracted" Liam said

"Woah...wh...why do you have two..three different cases you could get the evidence mixed up in your state" Barry said

"Oops..you need to get some sleep" barry said

"Li...no you are going in the shower getting a shave and a good meal and until then I will work the cases" Barry said

Holds hand up in surrender "Alright..I'll go take a shower get some sleep and eat then I will come help you" Liam said
