*I wonder how Y/N is doing with her brother hopefully he wasn't too harsh on her* *as Im thinking that I see Y/N walk but it looks like she was crying * "Y/N what's wrong?"I ask. "its Erick he's just way too overprotective I can't stand him by the way this is the last project I can work on with you" "WHAT why?" "Erick threatened to make chris sign me up for online school if I dont and I don't want to lose my friends i'm sorry" "no it doesn't you can just have a friend help you and lie to Erick telling him that Your working on a project with them, I don't want this to be the last time I work with you" "Idk what if he finds out i'll be in big trouble" "umm then we can stay after school and work on the assignment he can't do anything if were at school" "well you have a point there, let's talk about this later and let's just focus on the assignment right now" "okay let's talk about this later but first can I have your number?" "sure its (make up a number)" "alright thanks now let's get to work"

Y/N Pov

* joel is such a nice guy I think i'm starting to have feelings for him, Ik he's not like yoandri but after what happened with him i'm too scared to love or even have another boyfriend. I know not all guys are the same but after one hurts you it's hard to believe that someone truly loves you. After you get hurt sure it's already been a year since what happened with Yoandri but it feels more like a month I just need more time* "Y/N are you okay" Joel asked "yeah i'm fine I just spaced out sorry what where we working on again" "umm the song for choir are you sure your okay or is something bothering you" As he says that I notice him getting closer. So I back away and say "yeah i'm fine let's just get half of this done and do the rest of it tomorrow." "are you sure but whatever okay let's get half of it done"

Ericks Pov.

*I was just hiding trying to listen to their conversation yeah Ik im a bad brother, but that's when I hear something I don't like at all* "HALF what do you mean Half can you get it all done today?" I asked startling Y/N. "well yeah half its already 8pm and it's getting late joel needs to get home" Y/N said "are you sure or are you just stalling to make sure joel can stay a bit longer" I said "yes i'm sure can you at least stop being overprotective around Joel he's been your friend since you were both 5 years old" Y/N said "alright alright Im sorry bro but after what happened with yoandri I don't have a choice but to be this way I don't want my little sister to get hurt again, either way she's sooo not your type right bro." "yeah sure whatever" Joel said.

Y/N Pov

* I hope what joel said isn't true, I hope he's just saying that because that's what Erick wants him to say. I hate to admit it but I feel like I'm starting to gain feelings for joel, I don't want to but all I can do is hope that he does too and if we do get together he doesn't treat me like yoandri. All I can do Is hope that he isn't like him. If he is then Erick will most definitely hurt him, I mean he already threatened to hurt yoandri if he sees him again. I just don't want him to hurt Joel I mean He wouldn't right? They have been best friends for years he wouldn't hurt him right? I don't know if I'm willing to take that risk I rather Erick keep his best friend, than lose him because of me I don't want it to be my fault.
