"I'm not lying."
"Yes, you are."
"No, I'm not."
"You're caught in a lie, Min."
"Stop."
"No, not until you tell me."
"Maybe a little one."
"Why don't you ask her out?"
"I don't think she'll accept."
"You don't know until you try."
"I guess."
"How convenient! She's coming over."
Her arm is still interlocked with Chaeyoung's.
"Hi, Yoongi."
"Hello, Y/N."
Jimin nudges me.
"Yoongs, can we talk in private?"
"Are you sure, Y/N?" Chaeyoung sounds concerned.
"Of course, I'll ask you to come back when we need to leave."
"Ok."
"I'll leave you two." Jimin sends me a subtle wink, signalling me to ask her.
After their footsteps fade, Y/N smiles.
"I know this isn't the best time, Yoongi."
"It's alright."
"But I think I should tell you something."
"I have to say something too."
"Why don't you go first?"
"Sure." I smile at her, but she doesn't reciprocate the action. Her face stays neutral.
This hurt a little bit, because I was excited to see her smile again.
I haven't in a long time.
"Would you like to go out for lunch some time?"
"Does he know?"
