Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.
It was 1977 in London, England.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.
The Donny and Marie Show was big.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.
Queen was a big band in the UK too.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.
At exactly 9:30 in the morning.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.
It was pouring down rain outside.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Bwaaaang!
She opened her eyes at the sudden sound of her annoying alarm clock to start a new day all fresh. Her eyes gleamed around the room as she placed her arms on the bed linen. It was staring into the past for her while she glanced at the pictures of her and her friends on the wall that mixed with her posters of The Rolling Stones and The Doors.
Once she had the stamina to get out of her bed, she walked over to her bathroom to brush her teeth then got dressed into her brown blouse and jean bellbottoms, "Skylar! Since you don't have a job yet, you have to take your brother to school!" Her mother called from downstairs. Poor Skylar was constantly nagged by her parents about what they wanted her to be.
Skylar grabbed her keys and purse then trotted down the stairs to see her family already eating breakfast. She let out a sigh of annoyance due to the fact that nobody in her family cared about her, "Left some for me?" She asked them but they didn't respond.
She walked to counter and realized that there was no more breakfast for her. After placing the bread in the toaster, she turned to her family and crossed her arms, "Good morning." She finally brought enough kindness to say to her "loving" parents. Once again, they didn't reply.
"Teddy your sister has to drive you to school, hurry up." Her mother said as she pointed at her son's plate. Skylar rolled her eyes and glared at her brother as the toast shot up. She turned around and spread butter than peanut butter onto the crispy bread.
"How about I just disappear and never come back?" She suggested to her parents which cause them to glare over at their daughter. She smirked at them as Teddy finished his breakfast and walked over to Skylar for her to take him to school.

She pulled into the left side of the road to park her Dodge Charger R/T next to a coffee shop and a record store. While walking down the street to the library she saw a man playing the guitar while a fairly big crowd.
I can't get no satisfaction,
Cause I've tried and I tried, and I tried, and I tried,
I can't get no, no no no.Skylar decided to stand in the small crowd and watch the man who was putting his heart out into that Stones song. She started looking into her change pouch to see if she any money to give the performance a tip when she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder. He snapped around to a boy who was grinning like a little kid, "Great performance, ey?" The boy asked her in which she gave him a simple nod with a smile.
"Yeah, I like the Stones." She told the boy with the blues eyes and the light brown hair. He let out a giggle of excitement.
"Really? I like the Stones too. What's your favourite song?" He questioned her as she stepped back into his area of the crowd.
"Paint It, Black. Yours?" She smiled at him as he returned the same facial expression.
"Sympathy For The Devil. Would you like to talk more on the bench?" He asked as he walked over to the seat he was talking about. She nodded at him and walked over as well and sat beside him, "What's your name?" He continued to ask her.
"Skylar. Skylar Larkinson. Yours?" She asked him as he looked around at his surroundings.
"Eric Idle." He told her, she didn't know she was in the presence of a boy from Monty Python because her parents won't let her watch television.
"So what do you do for a living, Eric?" She questioned as she crossed her legs. Eric licked his lips in anticipation as he secretly stared at her cleavage.
"I'm a writer and actor for a show called Monty Python's Flying Circus. We also did a movie and we're currently writing another one. How about you?" He asked her as she shook her head and let out a sigh.
"I'm a lover of life and earth." She told him and simply as possible. He leaned forward a little bit to look at her face as she forward at the street artist.
"So you're a hippie? Don't you think that's a little redundant? Like the Woodstock is in America." He told her which made her sigh and stand up in front of him.
"That's the same shit I deal with from my parents who don't even talk to me when I live there so I don't need it from you, okay?" She explained as she started to walk away from him.
"I know what it's like to be treated horribly by your own parents." He called out to her which made her stop in her tracks and turn around on her heels.
"You do?" She asked him as she slowly walked back to him. He gave her a large nod which made her sit back down beside him.
"My father died when I was 5 and my mother sent me to an orphanage." He told her which made her feel guilty instantly.
"I'm sorry to hear that." She shook her head in guilt. Eric let out a sigh out of relief.
"It's alright." He told her as he looked at her. She looked around the street from the bench and started to watch the street performer once again, "Where were you headed to?" He asked her.
"To the record store down the street. I wanted the new Beatles record but then I was distracted by the guitarist." She told him.
"Oh, I'm good friends with George Harrison actually." He told her which she didn't believe.
"You're pulling my leg!" She smiled at him as he giggled. Eric reached into his pockets to grab his wallet then opened it to shoe get a picture to prove that he was right.
"Wow... I didn't know you knew a Beatle." She smiled as she amused and shocked.
"I'm in fact a Beatle myself." He giggled and raised his eyebrows which caused her to do the same thing.
"I like you, Eric... A lot..." She looked at him as Eric adjusted himself in his seat.
"Well, would you like to go out on a date tomorrow night?" He asked her which caught her off guard.
"Yeah, I could give you my number and address." She suggested to him as she went into her purse to pull out a notepad to write on and a pen.
Her pen touched the paper as she quickly wrote down the essentials with her name on top then she handed Eric the finished product. She stood up and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek then walked away.
