"umm.... What is this?"
"It's a pyramid from Egypt. Hehe...." I said laughing and smiling awkwardly.
"Uhhh.. Okay, I appreciate the effort. But the only way to stop you two from getting an F would be if your essay was extraordinary. Better pray you two." Mrs. Keller said taking our pyramid and our papers.
"Well, at least I won't be the only one that'll get that F." Astrid said laughing.
She's so pretty and amazing.
I can't do this.
Well, I spend as much time as I can with her before I go.
"So Astrid uhhhh, you wanna go to Starbucks with me for lunch? Now that we're done with the project maybe we could han-"
"Sure let's go right after I get some money from my locker."
"No! I'll pay for it."
She just shrugged and we started walking to Starbucks which was only a block away from the school.
As we started walking, I decided to interrupt this awkward silence between us.
"So what have you been doi-" I asked.
"Okay just stop there. I don't think you actually know what you're doing."
