Chapter two

Alex's pov

ALEX'S NIGHTMARE
("No please don't do this!" I screamed with tears coming down my face, watching them strap my brother.

I banged on the window and he turns to face me, smiling making cry even more.

"Aaaaaaah!" Atlas screamed from them drilling into his skull.

I try to cover my ears but i could still hear him screaming and all i could do was cry.)

I jump up, trying to breath until i feel someone's arms around me.

"Its ok, it me." Atlas says calming me down and i bury my face into his chest, soaking it with tears.

Atlas rubs my head slowly, holding me tightly in his arms making me feel safe. Once i stop crying, we kiss and hugged again.

"Did you have that dream again?" Atlas asks and i nod slowly.

"You don't have to be scared anymore, we are free from that." Atlas says smiling.

He lets go of me and gets off the bed. Atlas walks over to the dresser and grabs something.

"Here." Atlas says smiling, handing me the wolf plushie he brought for me.

I grab it and held it close to my chest making me feel safe. He grabs some clothes and lays them on the bed.

"Let's go take a bath real quick." Atlas says grabbing the plushie and setting it on the dresser then grabs me in his arms.

He takes me to the bathroom and puts me down, stripping me of all my clothes. Once he stripped as well, he turned on the bath and i get in. Atlas gets in, sitting with his chest to my back. As i go to grab the soap, Atlas grabs it smiling.

"Sorry but, as your big brother i have to wash you myself." Atlas says grinning and i pout.

He washes my back, arms, legs, and chest and i blush hard. I see him wash himself as well and he puts the soap down. I lay my head onto his chest and he pets my head and continues. Once we were done with our bath we get out of the bathroom and get dressed. We head to the living room and Douglas and Owen were on the sofa watching the news.

"What's on?" Atlas asks and looks at the tv.

I look and see Theo's face on the tv and i begin to shaking until Atlas wraps his arms around me.

"Breaking news, the millionaire Theo Holloway has escape the skyline prison." The news reporter says making me skin crawl.

"This man is dangerous so if sighted please contact the authorities." The news reporter says.

We stay in silence for a bit before Owen gets up and signals us to follow. We follow him to the basement where the portal is and Owen heads to the big computer.

"Why are we in here?" Atlas says while Owen types something into the computer.

"Ya'll are going to train in a different world." Owen says and the portal starts glowing.

"In case we have to live the house for who knows how long and get separated, ya'll will need to know how to survive on ya own." Owen says.

"Yeah, that's a good idea." Douglas says and pats Owen's back.

"So you want us to survive in that world?" I asks and he nods.

"We will be watching you and if ya'll die we will pull you out of the world." Owen says.

"Also, the time is different in there." Douglas says.

"Five hours here is a month in there." Douglas says.

"We'll pull you out in ten hours." Owen says.

"But first, lets get you ready for the trip." Douglas says and he leaves.

We wait for an hour before Douglas came in with two backpacks. He hands it to us and in them was a basic camping kit.

"You see why you need it." Douglas says and hands us a bottle.

"Use these to heal your wounds." Owen says and we nodded.

Douglas and Owen hugs us both and we did the same. We go through the portal and end up in a forest.

"Now i see why we need the camping supplies." Atlas says and we begin walking.

We walked through the forest until we ran into a lake.

"Let's set up camp before we continue to explore." Atlas says and i nod.

We unpack the camping supplies and set everything up. Once the tent was up, i see Atlas summon a dagger and stab it into the ground.

"Why you do that?" I asks.

"So we can find our way back to camp, don't you hear some kind of ringing?" Atlas says and i begin to hear it.

"If we get separated we can head back to camp." Atlas says smiling and pets my head.

We continue to explore around the lake and in the process we found a cave. We pull out our flashlight and made our way into the cave.

"Be careful, we don't know what could be down here." Atlas says and i nod.

As we made our way down i begin to hear some noises. We move slowly towards the noise and saw a pack of monsters surrounding a fire.

"What are those things?" I asks.

"Those are goblins." Atlas says and summons a pistol with a silencer on it.

"Its only five so i will deal with the little ones." Atlas says and i nod.

He takes aim and i unsheath my blade readying myself for battle. Once i see him nod his head, he fires at the two little ones and as he gets ready to fire at the third one, it fires a arrow at him, grazing his shoulder making him miss. I charge him and cut his head off making him spraying blood all over me.

"Behind you!" Atlas screamed and i turn and see the big goblin with his club above his head.

As he swings it down i use my robotic arm to deflect it, making him stumble back and i jump onto him a stab him where his heart was. He cough up blood and squirmed a bit before stopping still. I pull out my blade and put it back in his sheath then headed back to where Atlas was.

"You alright." He asks but my attention was where the arrow grazed him.

I reach into my pocket and pulled a bandage out and put on his shoulder.

"Heh, thanks little bro." Atlas says and pets my head making me blush and my tail starts wagging.

We made our way out of the cave and continued to explore the area. As we were walking we found what looks like an abandoned cabin. We go inside the cabin and we check the place.

"Well now we don't have to sleep in the tents." Atlas says in the kitchen.

I go upstairs and i only found one bedroom.

"Atlas, there's only one bedroom!" I shout.

"Then we just have to sleep together." Atlas says coming up the stairs and i blush.

By the time we got all our camping supplies into the cabin, it was night time. Atlas cook up something to eat and we headed to sleep.
