i woke up from my beauty sleep.

"yana! wake up, someone's at the door looking for you!"

i heard my brother scream from downstairs. i groaned.

"give me a few minutes!"

i screamed back.

i did my routine as usual.

as i arrived downstairs, i was greeted by my brother... and chan.

"hello boys."

i said. they both nodded.

"hurry up and eat breakfast, that guy's been waiting for you like 30 minutes ago."

seungcheol whispered. i responded with an 'ok'.

as soon as i was done eating, i walked to chan.

"uh, let's go?"

i asked.

"yup, c'mon."

we were walking down the street, but yet again we were in an awkward situation.

so chan decided to start a conversation this time.

"hey, you promised to answer my question yesterday."

"what was that again?"

"what did you like about me in the first place."

"oh yeah, right."

i looked at him, he smiled.

"well firstly, you're nice and kind."

"well i didn't know that."

i nudged him playfully.

"ok fine go on."

"second, you are smart."

"well i'm top of the class what can i say?"

i shushed him. he pouted.

"stop interrupting me, can you?"

i asked, irritated. he sighed then said 'ok'.

"third, your looks."

he made a handsome gesture as soon as i said that. i laughed.

"fourth and last, great leadership skills."

"oh yeah, that's why they nominated me president of the class."

"you make a great one."

"thanks."

i smiled at him. he returned it.

"well school's over there so we better get going since it's already very near."

he gestured towards our school a few blocks away.

"i know, i'm not blind. you don't need to point it."

"sorry."

he chuckled sheepishly.

we crossed the road and walked a few more blocks. then we were infront of the school.

"let's go to the classroom, our friends might be waiting for us."

"ok, but i'm hungry."

"already? but you just ate breakfast like, minutes ago."

"still."

"fine, let's go to the canteen for a while."

we were walking to the canteen, when i saw woojin.

chan's best friend.

"woojin!"

chan yelled towards him.

woojin looked at us and was shocked to see me.

"was it yana the whole time?"

"yes it's her. now we're together."

"so soon?"

"she agreed at least."

woojin looked at me. i nodded.

"well hope you guys turn out good."

"it is, until now."

i told woojin. he smiled.

"hey, i was starving since a while ago. c'mon i need food."

i gestured chan to come with me to where the food were.

"oh well, i guess i have to go back to the classroom now. bye lovebirds!"

woojin told us while walking back to the classroom.

i turned to chan.

"so?"

he happily walked towards me. i guess he got hungry too.

"what should i get?"

"anything you want."

"i'll just snatch some energy bar. i need some for my body."

"getting the same thing."

i nodded at him.

as we paid, we walked back to the classroom.

"yana and chan, both of you are late."

i looked at chan, troubled. he faced me.

"sorry mr. ong, we got kinda hungry so we stopped by the canteen for a few minutes."

"detention for later then."

both of us nodded.

we went back to our seat, but i passed areum. she whispered something i just agreed to.

"guess both of you are together now, huh?"
