Cyn and her husband planned a special day at the beach. They packed a blanket, some lunch, an umbrella, a few towels, and put on swim suits under their clothes. It took all morning to drive out to the beach. Cyn could hardly contain her excitement. When They arrived at the beach Cyn's husband laid out the blanket while she fixed the umbrella for shade. They, then sat down and had their lunch while talking.

After all the food was eaten, and Cyn had all the left over trash packed away for the journey home, she decided to go play in the water. She took off her regular clothes leaving on just her swimsuit. Then she started splashing in the water. It wasn't long before she spotted a sand dollar in the water. She reached in to the water to picked it up. She pulled out a crab that was smiling at her. She tilted her head and said, "Hey! You aren't a sand dollar!"

The crab clacked its claws. "Nope!" and it pinched her arm. She dropped the crab and it started to chase her clicking and clacking his claws.

"This means War!" she exclaimed, as she turned on a dime. She fell to the ground and started digging. The sand flew into a pile behind her, and before she knew it she had a moat dug, and the waves were filling it up with water.

A few sea turtles were close by and decided they wanted to swim in her mote. "Alright, but we are at war with Mr. Crab over there! I'll build our castle!."

Cyn worked hard and made her castle. She had just hug her flag when a sudden air attack came in the form of poop from seagulls. Cyn dove into her sand castle and screamed, "We're under attack!"

Suddenly, the seagulls were hit by water jets from a few dolphins playing near by, who decided to join the fun. One took a moment to rinse the poo off of Cyn's bathing suit. It tickled so much she giggled.

Out of no where a pup smashed into the moat and the sea turtles attacked with throwing starfish like ninja stars. Mr. crab called the hermit crabs to march into battle after the sea turtle ninjas and they pinched their tails.

Next the pelicans started dropping clams on the hermit crabs like atomic bombs. The hermit crabs fly off the sea turtles in a cloud of sandy dust. Fish start jumping up at the dolphins popping them on the nose with their tails.

Mr. Crab gathers the local seals, and they charge Cyn's sand castle. Seeing them charge, Cyn grabbed a stick, holding it like a sword in the air, points it at Mr. Crab, and screams. "Charge!"

The war was on and the battle was being fought gallantly by both sides. Everyone proceeded to give their all as the two generals charged for one another. Cyn and Mr. Crab collided in a great sword fight. He went left, and she swung right. He countered with a open claw, and she ran her sword down the middle delivering the fatal blow.

"Ahhh! You got me!" he screamed out, and everyone stopped to see his final death scene. Cyn stood victorious over Mr. Crab, looking down at him, not making a sound. The whole beach fell quiet as everyone watched. All a sudden, Cyn erupted with laughter, and she fell beside Mr. Crab.

Everyone looked at one another confused about what as going on. Slowly waves of laughter swallowed the crowd, and everyone who had been fighting, were now rolling in the sand holding their sides. The dolphins were doing flips, and the fish were jumping out the water. The birds all landed, laying on their backs giggling.

A shadow fell over Cyn and Mr. Crab. They looked up, and there stood her husband with a smile on his face. "Are you done yet, Love?" he asked her.

She grinned and nodded. All her new friends helped her clean up the beach, replacing the sand, and leaving very little trace of the amazing battle that was fought. Her husband helped her pack up the truck. Cyn waved good bye to everyone as she climbed into their truck.

"Did you enjoy yourself at the beach today?" Her husband asked her.

"I sure did." she smiled to him, as they drove home from their trip to the beach.

The end.
