Wills POV

I had just told Nico to go upstairs so I could talk to my mum, she looked at me worryingly, "will, honey? Whats wrong?" She asked her voice thick with concern. I had already asked Nico if I could tell my mum about her situation and she said yes. "Nicos dad has been.... um..... getting violent lately." Her eyes widened with worry and she was about to say something but I interrupted, "I was wondering if she could stay at our house for a while. She can sleep in my bed and I can sleep on the floor. We figured everything out, she's at a legal age to move out with parental consent and I doubt her dad will tell someone knowing he could easily be arrested." She thought for a moment, worrying me, "I don't see why not" she said smiling wearily at me. "Thank youuuu" I hug her and run upstairs.

I walk in my room to see Nicole looking down at her phone. She immediately looks up at me and smiles, "what did she say?" She asks her voice shaky. "She said yes" immediately I see her whole body just calm down. She smiles and I can see happy tears in her eyes. She walks over and hugs me immediately, my chin resting on her head, my arms wrapped around her warm body. "Thank you" Her voice is small and fragile, I just want to protect her, I hug her tighter.

"What do u wanna watch?" I ask flopping down on the bed next to her. Grabbing the remote and turning on Netflix, "i don't mind, I like all movies" I turn on a comedy.
It's not funny, at all. "Do you wanna do something else?" I ask I know she's bored too.  She nods eagerly. "Ok let's......... ummmm........ I have board games!" "YESSS! I AM A GOD AT BOARD GAMES! What do u have?" She yelled, siting up and crossing her legs to look at me. "I have monopoly, scrabble, Pictionary, I have other monopoly's and cluedo" she gasps "cluedo!" I laugh and grab the game from my closet. She's adorable. I feel like we all know I like Nico, like, like like Nico. You know. I place it on the bed, doing my best to smooth down the blankets so it's easier to lay the game down. We start. I'm Professor Peach and nicos Miss Scarlet.

The game last for ages. I know the room and person. All i have to do is narrow down the weapons and I got it. "Colonel mustard in the bedroom with the revolver" I have colonel mustard and bedroom. This is it. She shows me the revolver card. I know the answer. I'm gonna win. She has her go. I roll the dice. I move to the middle room where the answer is. "Mrs Peacock in the kitchen with the rope" I look at the cards. I look up and smile at Nico. Hatred burns in her eyes. I inhale deeply, "I win" "goddamn it!" She flops back on the bed "I thought I was a god, turns out I'm just an idiot" she sighs. "What now?" She asks, "I'm starving, did we have dinner?" She shakes her head "oof" I mumble, she nods. "I want ice cream, do u want ice cream?" I ask cleaning up the game "She looks up and starts helping me "yessssss, Ice cream for dinner" "we're rebels" I smile, she snorts and grabs the box to put it back in my closet. I don't think much about it, until I hear a quiet "uhm" I jump up and nervously close the door. "Looks like you've had some lady's over" she sounded so hurt, the comment was probably meant to be funny but her tone hurt me.
