In the corner of a cafe, a lone girl was sitting with an untouched coffee mug on her table. With different varying expressions, she tapped buttons on her game console as she grew more excited.

From the way she fidgets skittishly on her seat and the bright gleam of her eyes, anyone could see how strange she looked. But that's just how otakus usually react when ethusiastic.

Her eyes glanced at the corner of her screen and seemingly in realization, she abruptly got up and went straight to the exit door.

I can't believe I'm late! Reese was in a panic and knocked her head for regretting her actions. Who said it was okay to play games while idly waiting for her appointment time?

With quick steps, she arrived at the pedestrian lanes but couldn't move forward as the light was still red.

Inside, she was still reprimanding herself for being too distracted in her game, Royals' Chaos Romance. She was so into it that the word "appointment" just went right out of her mind.

The moment the light struck green, Reese didn't hesitate to dash across the street. With her eyes rooted to the front, she didn't notice the pair of flashing lights coming right at her side.

It was already too late when she realized it.

She was hit.

There was a pang of pain but she soon grew numb.

Blood covered her head and clothes, it slowly spread the same time her conciousness started drifting away.

Her world grew blurry and all noise dissipated. She didn't even have time to think when everything had gone dark.
