Faélin
I woke up, and somehow, I was back at home. On the couch. The one difference is, Connor wasn't there with me. I was alone. My vision blurred as tears filled my eyes, then slid silently down my cheeks. His words were ringing in my ears. I knew I had to go finish his story, but I couldn't bring myself to move from the couch. I had lost everything for the second time in my life. I'd never see him again. That revelation was more painful than slamming into a wall or being thrown into a room with no soft landing.

There's only one more part I have to finish in his book.
For the one and only true friend someone could wish for. Connor, you're not really gone. I know you're still amidst the rooms somewhere, running, and searching for a way to come back to me. I won't forget the way you turned things around, but I didn't get the chance to tell you, so I'll tell you here for when you see that I finished your book. I really do love you (more than you loved me, and there's no fighting it), and I did what you wanted. I made it a happy ending.
