He stops and thinks he takes a deep breath in and deep breath out and he looks in the glove compartment and looks through music tapes and pulls out a disk that has morning music written on it he puts in and plays "our deal" and he back out and pulls out of the driveway and drives away to school. He drives through streets, stopping at the traffic lights, he looks at the sunrise. He turns into school and pulls into school parking lot and parks, he gets a bag out of the trunk and goes out behind the school and starts to spray paint a giant red A on the wall, he runs out and throws it away. He walks to the front and walks through the main doors and sits at a table by himself and just rests his head on the table. The bell rings he gets up and walks to his 1st period, his principle walks past and glares at him, ALAN smiles and waves back. He walks into class, sits and just stares at the wall, the teacher is talking but the words just kind of fade. He looks at the clock, time is so slow and he is so bored. He taps his desk and starts popping his lips, the bell rings.)
