Sam

I stared at the clear blue sky during the entirety of the ride and trust me when I tell you not to do the same. I was feeling like my head had blocked itself upwards and that I would be stuck forever.

Before you take me for a dumbass who didn't just think of looking back at the road. This was Puncher girl's order - "No peaking." she said.

She would slap my thigh every time I tried to transgress her sole but painful rule.

When I am finally allowed to look around me, you could say that I'm quite confused. Before me, is just a simple street, a totally empty one might I add.

It is a bit creepy.

I look at Bailey who is putting her helmet away like nothing looks weird with the place we've pulled up in. She meets my confused gaze and stifles a laugh. Oooookay.

"Don't worry, baddy. I actually have something to show you, may not be what you expect though." She started walking in the direction of an alley.

What was with her and alleys? Seriously.

As she guides my completely lost ass between the worn walls of the dark place, she lookes up at me, a glint present in her blue eyes, "Or perhaps this thing is exactly what you would expect from me."

That's it. This girl is too interesting and I'm too curious for my own good. I catch up the space lacking to be beside her and we fall into a comfortable rhythm.

I steal glances at the stranger next to me. Her calm features hold nothing hostile and I gotta admit that the confidence radiating from her does Nothing else but attract me more.

"You know, if you keep staring at me like that, I'll start thinking that you like me, baddy."

A smile dances on her face when I immediately dart my eyes away from her and suddenly, the dirty floor is the most fascinating thing in the world.

What the hell? Why did I react like a kid caught stealing candy? I don't act like a pussy in front of girls, they try to show theirs to me.

Okay, those are only the ones without self-respect and I admit that this statement was kinda gross but it's not far from the truth.

If Dylan payed attention, he'd confirm it for me. Teddy can totally see it too.

But their mouths prefer their friendship with each other over mine, so they don't really care.

"Hey, what's going on in that big head of yours?" Bailey analyses me and my thoughts fade away. I fake offense and put a hand over my heart. "Okay no, my head is not big!"

"Yeah sure, it's just as big as your ego so, that's pretty damn big to me."

We share a light laugh, "Don't worry Puncher girl, you haven't lost my attention. Such a sweet face is impossible to get bored of."

I send her a charming smile and she simply replies with one of hers. It's like it's the most natural thing in the world, to smile at her.

"Well, while you were lost in the black hole that seems to be your mind," I shove her shoulder gently against mine playfully, "You didn't notice that we had reached our destination."

I look ahead and see her hand gesturing to the entry before us. I laugh at the dramatic movement of her arm. "So, could you explain where we are exactly, because frankly I can't see much."

All I can actually see is a far white wall behind some sort of chimney-like tube in the middle of what seems to be a square space. I know that because the buildings around are so high, the sunlight can hardly reach the narrow place we're standing in.
