Chapter 2

Minutes went by and it was now time to head to first period. I was a little nervous and definietly that girl made me feel more nervous than I was before. Daniella was walking to the door to exit, but then she gave me this mean look that I couldn't even respond to. I gave her a little smirk smile and then I exited the room after her. Harry then exited the room next and he went to find me. I didn't really walk too far so it was easy for him to find me. When I saw him walk next to me, I felt pretty better. Daniella was rude and she was the most popular girl in school. How could I compete? I couldn't. She would always win and put me down. I feel that is what popular girls did. Was I ever popular? Never. I don't want to be. They are just bitches and they think they are better than everyone else. Mostly the cheerleaders are pretty mean, but I think any kind of popular girl is just rude.

I was looking at Harry. He was still popular, just like when we were five-years old in 1st grade. He didn't always take it so seriously, which I really love because if he did I would think he would forget about me. He said that he would never forget about me even if he became popular. I thought he was the nicest person I ever met and in my time I didn't really have too many friends. Harry is the one person I can trust with anything. I can also tell him anything. He was my best friend and I could really tell him everything. EVERYTHING.

I was singing the words to a Justin Bieber song. I was minding my own business as I walked into the Chorus room with Harry. He knew I was singing and he let me sing without any interruptions, which was pretty nice of him. I sat down at a chair and Harry was next to me on the left. More and more girls walked in. Any boys? I hope so or Harry would be very popular in this class. I would be a nightmare if I couldn't even get to say one word to him. I kept singing and starring at the door. More girls came in and sat down whereever they wanted to. Then a group of boys walked in. They were pretty cute, but not as cute as Harry. They sat down in the back row of the room. I stopped singing and I touched Harry's shoulder to tell him something. "There's boys." I told him. He looked behind and he saw those four boys in the back. He nodded. He felt happy that there were a few boys other than hisself.

"Hey Harry," A girl said, as she walked into the room. Harry smiled. It was another one of his "girl" friends.

"Hey Mary Ann." Mary Ann. Her name goes back a long way. I knew her since Preschool, which to me, is a long time. But don't think I'm actually friends with her or anything. I know her, but not anywhere close to being friends.

"You excited?" She asked.

"You bet!" He smiled.

"Me too. I'll catch you later," She said and then she walked away to get a seat for her own.

"How about you singing machine?" He laughed.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine." I said, looking up at the ceiling.

"No, I mean... are you excited or what?"

"Oh, then yes." I looked back down. He might think I'm stupid or something.

"Let's begin..." The teacher said to the class.
