In another car, the vocal team was having their own mini karaoke session. Joshua was singing along with a sweet, delicate voice. Jeonghan gently sang along to the tune. Jihoon was humming, occasionally saying a few words. The great main vocalists, Seokmin and Seungkwan, were singing (read screaming) at the top of their lungs. The pulled up into the studio.

"Yeah! First!" Seungkwan and Seokmin shared a high five. Getting to the location first always was an accomplishment rewarded with bragging rights. They only waited a couple of minutes before the hiphop car pulled up.

"We beat you guys," Seungkwan said, walking over to Vernon.

"Well, at least we're not last," Vernon huffed. "We beat the performance team."

The members and managers headed into the studio to wait for the others. They started talking and joking amongst themselves. Ten minutes passed and no sign of the performance team. The other members were starting to get worried.

"Seungcheol hyung," Seungcheol turned to see Mingyu. "Where are the others?" The others turned their heads to hear the leader's response.

"I don't know." he turned to the managers who just shrugged. One of them tried to call the manager in charge of the performance unit only to go to voice mail.

After five minutes of tense waiting, one of the managers finally get a phone call. Everyone turns to watch the call.

"What?" A look of horror fell upon his face. "You're serious? We'll be there immediately." Everyone worried what the call must of been about. The manager called the other one over. They talked quietly, so the members couldn't hear them.

"Wh-" before Seungcheol could finish the manager who first took the call spoke.

"I'm going to leave now. Bye"

"Wait, what?"

"Why?"

"Where?" All the members started asking questions. If they weren't scared before, they definitely were now. The manager didn't want to tell them, but he did anyway. With a hard, almost dark, face he replied.

"I'm going to the hospital. The performance team got into a car accident."

-------------------------------

The drive lasted what seemed like forever. It didn't take much convincing for the managers to let them come to. After being told the news, Joshua could feel his eyes watering. Gazing out the car, he though of every possibility out there. To just minor scratches, to an outcome if he started to think about, he'd cry.

Wonwoo felt empty. Car accident. It couldn't be right. Maybe they're okay. Maybe they just sprained or broke a bone. Maybe the only damage was a concussion or two. Wonwoo tried to convince himself, yet his mind always went to the worst case scenario.

Unlike Wonwoo, Jihoon had convinced himself that all of them were going to be okay. He would not even let his mind wonder from that thought. They'd be okay, injured, but okay. The whole drive to the hospital Jihoon kept thinking the same thing over and over again. They are okay.

They are okay.

They're okay.

They had to be.
