It's been a little over a year since the accident. SEVENTEEN has made their big break in the United States with a tour. Seungchol was so proud of his members. He never doubted his group, but it was a dream come true to be popular outside of Korea. To be able to have successful American tour was unbelievable to him.

They visited 12 cities. Ten cities in the United States and the other two in Canada. Seokmin was so excited when they performed at their first city. The big apple itself, New York City. They've performed in America before, but a tour was amazing. Seokmin was grinning ear to ear seeing international carats.

At the hotel, Wonwoo was brushing up on his English. He has never been the best when it came to English. Now that they were in America though, Wonwoo wanted to know at least the basics. Jeonghan, his hotel roommate through rock-paper-scissors, laid next to him on the bed. Together they practiced.

Seventeen was having an interview. Joshua has been serving as an unofficial leader of the group since coming to America. Vernon was like his vice. They were in Los Angles, one of their last stops in the States.

Joshua has been ecstatic being back in his hometown. He showed the other members his favorite restaurants and sight-seeing destinations. He loved being able to use his English skills to use with translating for his members. He enjoyed English interviews where he could speak English and talk about Seventeen and kpop in general to Americans. But to be honest, Joshua was getting tired of the same questions.

"Who would you guys like to collaborate with?" the interviewer asked. She was nice, so Vernon could not hate her. However, this question has been asked for than enough times. He shared a look with Joshua, both sick of the question. Vernon did not know how to answer. He translating the question even though he was pretty sure the members already knew. Luckily, his members saved him by shouting out random artist names.

All the artist names that were shouted were artists the members of Seventeen liked.  Vernon has no problem collaborating with any of them. However, the probability of an actual collaboration was quite slim. Vernon wondered how a collab would work. There are 13 members. It's would be difficult adding another person. Maybe a collab with a unit would work or certain members. They've done those before.

Speaking of SVT's 13 members, that was another frequently asked question. "Why is your group called SEVENTEEN if there are only thirteen members?" Vernon looked towards the LA-born member who had become a master of asking this question.

Joshua our in a fake smile. He answered this question so many times. It would be easier just to say 'Seventeen originally had 17 members',  but then people would ask why they left and it's just too complicated. So Joshua just answered with what he always answered with, even though it makes little since now.

"Well, when SEVENTEEN debuted there were 13 members. Seventeen has three different units and we're all one team. So 13 plus 3 plus 1 equals 17. That's why we're called Seventeen." Joshua  explained.

"Wait." The interviewer was nice but also very ignorant. "I only count ten of you. Where's the other three?"

Joshua inwardly cringed. Some outwardly cringed. Jeonghan quickly glanced at Soonyoung.

"They. . . um. . . sadly passed away about a year ago," Joshua answered. The interviewer's face turned from a smile to shock and regret.

"Oh my gosh. I had no idea. I'm so sorry."

"It's okay," mumbled Joshua. Now the rest of the interview will be super awkward. Just great.

----------------------------

Soonyoung had the time of his life on tour. They have come so far. He wished they could be here. Before each concert, Soonyoung felt the folded up photo in his pocket. He would make them proud.

Every interview Seventeen would explain how their group worked. With different units and sub-leaders. The members talked about how they composed and wrote their songs. How Seventeen was self-producing.

When it came to team games, Soonyoung became an honorary member of the hiphop unit. To keep the team equal. Anytime the group was separated by units Soonyoung sided with the rappers. Yet, every time an interviewer asked Soonyoung what unit he was a part of, or when he introduced himself, Soonyoung always said the same thing.

He would always be a part of the performance team. The four of them would always be team, together.

"I'm the performance team's Hoshi."
