CHAPTER 6

we got to a shop,it wasn't a restaurant at all though really..
"adam,do you mind telling me where we are?"
i said yelling over the music, he went to let go of my hand and i jerked him closer to me,i didn't mean to pull him as close as he got to me though..his chest bumped into my shoulder and he just wrapped his arms on me awkwardly,i quickly pushed him away,still holding his hand
i turned down the music with my free hand
"im sorry adam,i got scared when you tried to let go of my hand"
he smirked
"whys that (y/n)?if you don't mind me asking"
i laughed
"oh don't flatter yourself Mr.Ortiz"
he brought my hand up and kissed it
"(y/n) im gonna have to let go really quick to get out,unless you want to get out first?i'd love to open the door for you though"
i caught myself blushing in the mirror..why over adams kiss on my hand and opening my door comment?
"y-you can let go.."
"alright.."
he took his keys out with his free hand and then let go of my hand,he shut his door and quickly opened the door for me
"thanks adam.."
he smiled at me
"someone as great as you deserves great things like that all the time"
he bumped me a little gently,i smiled
"where are we going adam?i see we're just walking down the street and it's getting dark,it's 8:17pm"
"well i just wanted to walk with you,(y/n) i really need to
tell you so much.."
i was confused
"well tell me,you can trust me.."
"it's not that im worried of your trust..i trust you..i just have a lot in my brain"
"that's why your heads so big isn't?you just got a big brain"
he laughed
"big brains mean a lot of smartness in there"
i chuckled
"not in your case,you just have a lot of dumbness in there"
i tapped his forehead and he laughed
"(y/n),chole didn't cheat on me.."
i looked at him confused
"then what happened?.."
he looked down and bit his lip a little
"i uh..i broke up with her..kinda? "
"why are you telling me this?"
"i lied to you..(y/n),i've liked you for a while now..."
"i like you too adam,i guess you've become my friend
"no (y/n)..you don't understand..i uh like you..?"
i laughed
"what do you mean?"
"i knew i liked you when when chole watched me follow you,she came along..i had been following you for about a week before that,i just thought you were so beautiful..thats why i liked you at first..i didn't really know i liked you then though,i was so confused..chole of course took notice that i wasn't coming home with her,so she followed me when i was following you,we got in a type of argument..i told her i didn't even like her,i had no feeling for her anymore..she said she didn't like me at this point either,we hid behind trees when you were in the truck,she thought you were dead,i knew you weren't..she told me to talk to you just to make sure..thats when you just showed so much sass,it was attractive to me.?and when you said you'd want us to murder you..i knew you were a pretty smile with the most broken heart of all,i didn't know girls like you really existed til i meant you..so i wasn't sure how to start talking to you..i continued to stay the asshole i was with you..it wasn't working..obviously..but because me and chole were still together..why? i guess because we were use to it..but she told me she cheated on me..i had to leave the house "
he paused then continued
"..i couldn't really care though,i just wanted and want you (y/n)"
i didn't know what to say,i just starred at him..he had looked scared and had red cheeks
"adam..i uh.."
he looked down
"look im sorry to tell you all this so soon..i just felt like i was lying to you..you don't have to reply (y/n), i know it's hard to reply"
i kissed his cheek
it turned a bright red and he smiled a bit
"adam..its a gorgeous night and i really don't wanna waste it.."
i put my hand out to him and smiled
he smiled back and took my hand and we walked down the streets and stopped by a few stores, a few food shops too
once the night ended i had a beautiful space Etsy necklace around my neck and adam had a small little hickey on his neck
we both had muffins which i brought for us, adam paid for my necklace and i tried paying myself
he refused
we also went to another shop and got fruit snacks
i've only wanted to eat fruit snacks for the past three weeks lmao you can change it if you wanna

we got to adams car and i got nervous again
"adam..?"
he smiled at me
"you did it before (y/n), you got this"
i smiled a bit
he opened the door for me and i got into the car
he quickly got into the drivers side and i grabbed his hand
he began to drive back and i couldn't help but smile
smile at how everything was going
this night
i feel happy for once
really happy
im breaking my fear of cars
and im starting to find out what love is...
once we got back to the house adam opened the door for me again
"thank you"
he smiled goofy at me
we unlocked the house door and went inside
once adam came back in he grabbed my sides
"yes sir?"
i said with my hand on his cheek
he smiled and i could see dimples

i grabbed his shirt and tugged him over to my lips,i felt his lips form into a smile then countiuned to kiss mine,i put my other hand on his back and he put one of his on my lower back,the other running through my hair
i couldn't breathe after kissing for a minute or two..i released my lips and just starred at him
he went to kiss me again and i put my finger on his lip
"goodnight adam"
i started walking to my room
"one more (y/n)..cmon?"
he said in a soft voice
"noo, goodnight adam"
he smiled
"goodnight beautiful.."
before walking out of the room i turned and smiled at him
i then went into my room, i walked to my dresser and got out pajamas
i shut my door and got dressed
i then laid in bed and tried to fall asleep
all i could think about was his lips..
his lips were on mine
adam ortiz lips..were connected to mine
i smiled and face palmed at the same time
