"well if i told you to tell me it doesn't mean your throwing your problems on me. i want to help"
he smiled
"(y/n)..chole she uh..cheated on me..we broke up and i don't have anywhere to go. im worried..thats what's wrong"

"i have a room that you can stay in adam"
he looked at me really shocked
"(y/n)..are u serious?" i smiled, pissed off at myself "yeah im serious..its opened to you whenever you'd like..don't think we're friends though."
"y-yeah..thank u.." he hugged me and i just stood there like an awkward piece of shit.
"sorry i huh..i hugged you.." i just nodded my head "im going for a walk after work..u can come but im probably not gonna talk but listen to music instead"
he looked at me and showed earbuds in his hands, i just nodded at him and then someone walked in along with 7 kids..only two of us at work, we both got ready to hear what they had to say..kids were challenging when younger because they change they're minds a lot and they all talk at the same time. most of the time we get orders wrong if the mother doesn't clarify.
*they all order*
"thank you so much ma'am,you guys may sit at a table as u wait"
they sit down then me and adam go to the back to get all of the smoothies.
"what did the little girl want?"

i thought for a minute "strawberry, blueberry pineapple"
"thank you"he makes it so quickly then walks over to the table and hands it to her
she was the only girl,the boys were mad " hey you boys should be gentleman..." i said walking over to the adam next to adam with two of the boys drinks and they're moms, adam grabbed one seeing i was close to dropping it. are hands touched a little as he grabbed it n i felt like going to the bathroom so i could barf.
after we got that family all the smoothies they left leaving me and adam there alone.
"(y/n) "
i looked at him
"huh"
"thank u for letting me stay with u. and that u for forgiving me."
i looked down
"your welcome but im not sure i've forgiven u. "
he looks down
"it's okay..i just hope u will one day"
i smiled at him
"and i probably will,now's just not the time for it"
he smiles
"tell me when u forgive me please.."
i looked at him
"i will...but right now i hate u bc u got to the girl before me."
"ARE U SERIOU-"
"IM JOKING JESUS"
he laughs and i just stood there like a dumbass too awkward to really say anything
*after work*
i took my apron off and put it back,adam was looking at me
"what do u want?.."
he looks down
"im just realizing how beautiful you really are..i guess you could say admiring you..sorry for all the times i said you weren't.."
he leaned on the counter again,starring at me..he had his hand on his face keeping him balanced. i put my hand on his face and pushed him away gently
"well stop it because i know your just trying to suck up to me."
he looked down
"okay let's get real. i know you don't like me and im sorry. i want you to understand i have no hate towards you at all. "
"i don't think i hate u. well i never did maybe?but yeah your right about me not liking you. now let's just go home so i can show you your room.. your lucky im nice because im gonna be missing my jog i've been taking for more than a year now to help fix your mental health. "
"when your bossy it's cute.."
"adam why are u so flirty?i told you that you could live at my place,i don't take things back"
he looked down n tightened his grip on the bottom of his shirt
"whatever. let's go to the store so u can get idk,whatever guys need"
"no it's fine (y/n),i can still get my stuff from choles place.."
"alright..sorry but i don't have a car.."
"i have a car..hey how about we share it? as i live with u we can share?"
i smiled
"thanks adam but if i wanted a car i would have one, im scared of them. i walk everywhere"
"then why do you get in the truck?"
i looked at him confused..then remember he followed me
"im trying to get use to cars again, it's not working well though.."
adam started to turn off all the lights and i flipped the shop sign to "closed"..it was 4:05pm..i started walking back with adam next to me,i had my earbuds in and had adam on my side just..watching me walk?
" would u like one?"i said pointing at my earbuds "what an earbud?" "no an ear." he looked at me confused "yes an earbud dipshit." he smiled and took one
"thank you..what are you listening to?"
"im yours by jason mraz"
he smiled
"i like that song too.."
"well it's a good song..are u hungry?"
he looked at me
"a little yea..i haven't ate since last night"
i looked at him..
"well i haven't eat anything for 3 days. im pretty hungry too..im really scared to go out in stores without anyone..now that i have you i can"
he mumbled something but i didn't hear it..nor did i really care

" "i have you.." yes..you do (y/n)..wondering if we could both have each other..it'd be great.. "

we walked to the store..it felt great being with her... she felt like a source of happiness
