Blair's Point of View:

I grinned brightly as my guinipig actually talked with my device.

"Well you seem happy." he, by his voice, said.

I shook my head still smiling.

"I mean, why WOULDNT I be? My device works! I didn't think you know the right part for it to work correctly." I said.

"Well, your not the first one to come up with it. Mine and my teams friend actually made it first." he said.

I sighed as I faced my literal face into my desk.

"And here I thought I made the worlds first...." I muttered as it was muffled from the desk.

"Eh, at least your the first teen to do it for something kind to people and animals." he said.

"True true." I said as I lifted my head up.

"And thanks, for your concern. My parents like to hurt me a lot since I dropped ballet for inventing." I told him.

"Yea. Your dog told me that." he said.

"It makes sense your able to communicate perfectly with other animals but not humans." I said.

"I'm Blair." I said.

"Darwin." he said as he held out his tiny hand.

I politely shook it.

"So what do you mean by, your team?" I asked.

"It's a long story." Darwin said with a sigh.

"Well I got all night because ima work on more devices for your two friends and my friends." I said as I grinned brightly.

He laughed softly at that.

"Alright." He said.

I went through the night-
Drinking so many caffeinated beverages, and snacking as I worked on the other devices, one with some glasses on for the mole Darwin called Speckles.

"Ok that's the last one, and it's Harley Quinn's." I said as I finished Harley Quinn's device.

"So you and your friends are a rejected special against force rejected by the government called GForce?" I asked him as I looked back at him.

Darwin sighed.

"Pretty much." He said.

"What happened that caused you guys to end up in this situation?" I asked as I put the devices on Speckles and Herly.

Darwin sighed shaking his head.

"Darwin got the wrong file for what a CEO of mega appliance company, it was a coffee machine." Speckles said through his device.

"No, I know I got the right file Speckles." Darwin told him as I went to Pascal.

"So you meant to get a coffee machine file?" I asked him as I slipped the device on Pascal and put him on my shoulder.

He sighed.

"I'm kidding dude don't worry." I said with a slight laugh and smile.

I put Harley Quinn's device on her-

"Who's that other Guninipig in that photo on your desk?" Herly asked.

I froze at that.

"HERLY!" Darwin scolded Herly.

"What I was just-"

"You didn't take account of how she tensed up at that!" Darwin yelled.

I sighed as I felt hot tears fill my eyes as I looked down seeing Harley Quinn was looking at me, she looked concerned for me.

"That is her first guinipig that was before me and Harley Quinn and she first successful made the device for. He passed on her sixteenth birthday a couple of months almost a year ago. She hasn't successfully made the device since then." Pascal said as he had a French accent.

I felt a rouge tear escape my left eye-
The pain eye.

Harley Quinn licked it away.

"It's ok master." She said.

I sighed shakily as I shook my head.

I went to my keyboard and turned it on, pressing some notes.

"This song reminds me of how much I love him." I said.

Everyone grew silent.

I then began to play my keyboard as I sung.

I sighed shakily as I stopped singing.

I felt another tear escape my eye.

I shook my head and tried to blink my tears away.

Which I failed and broke down in tears and quiet sobs.

I covered my face with my palms as I cried.

I couldn't stop crying.

I wanted to scream out my frustration about it all, but my parents would slap me again for waking them up about such a 'stupid' thing.

Nothing about family was or is stupid.
It was Who makes you feel that way that are family.

And my pets were my only family.

I managed to calm down my sobs and sighed as I kicked off my shoes finally and crawled into be.

Haley Quinn went to her bed.

Pascal went to my end table and went to sleep himself since he was on my shoulder as I had played and sung.

"Ima go to sleep." I said to Darwin, Speckles and Herly.

I sighed as they stayed silent.

I closed my eyes and drifted off into a much needed sleep.....
