It's finally camping day!
Ellie is in my cabin, there is this other girl called Vanessa that is with us too but I don't mind being with someone new. We have one other spot left and for some unknown reason there is a guy in our room. Charles, my lab partner.
" Why the fuck do we have a dude in our room?" I jump to Ellie's choice of words.
" Probably because I'm gay." A familiar voice answers from behind us.
" So? That doesn't mean that girls and boys would be allowed to mix." Ellie protests, I think that if she knew boys and girls were allowed to mix, she would of have picked another one.
" Actually, since I'm gay and all the dudes at our school are assholes, no boy wanted to pair up with me. Plus, every single of their rooms were full." Charles answers calmly.
" What makes you think that you can be with us?" She snaps.
" You guys are three, you had one spot left." He smiles.
Ellie sighs. This is going to be a long four days.

When we get there, I realize that it wasn't a cabin at all, there are several cottages and inside each one, there are 8 rooms, four rooms for the boys, and four for the girls.
In our rooms, there are four double beds for each and one of us, two on each side of the room.
Window
My bed. Charles's bed
Ellie's bed. Vanessa's bed
Door. Bathroom
The bathroom has two toilets and two showers which is pretty convenient.
It's 1:30 PM and before we attend our activities, we have to go eat. Our cottage is a two minute walk from the cafeteria.

The cafeteria is beautiful. It literally looks like a wedding reception, the decors and walls are white, there is a stage in the back of the room and a huge chandelier above our heads. Ellie and I eat quickly because we want to take a little walk.
" I like Sterling." She confesses.
" Are you going to ask him out?" I ask.
" No way, he would have to do that!" She quickly answers. She takes a deep breath. " What I mean is that I'm waiting for him to do it, because I'm not too sure if i want him." She continues. " If he asks me out, I would be sure that he is interested, that would reassure me and make me too."
I shake my head. I was about to suggest her to figure out if she wants to date him or not, but then again, do I know anything about healthy relationships?

The first activity is hiking. Great.
The teachers guide every team to a random spot in the forest and they give us a compass. The first team that gets to the campus wins.
