I don't want to dothis. I mean, I find him hot but I don't want to kiss him and make everything weird.
It's very dark but I can see the smirk on his face.
" I know you don't want to kiss me." He says.
" What? No! I mean..." I sigh. " How did you know?"
" It's written all over your face." He laughs.
I give him an apologetic look.
" Its ok, none taken, I wasn't expecting it anyway."
What does that mean?
" Come I want to show you something." He takes my hand and leads me deeper in the woods. I can see the campfire disappearing.
We walk for about ten minutes in a comfortable silence and we finally reach a crowd. The more we walk towards it, the more it gets bigger, I realize that he brought me to a party.
I tug on his sleeve.
" Jay, I don't know anyone."
" Don't worry, just stay with me." He puts his hand around my shoulder.
" Hey Jayden! Who is this? A shirtless blonde guy asks.

" James, this is Charlotte. Charlotte, this is my brother James."
His brother? Damn.
" She's hot, man." James says. Jayden punches him in the arm playfully. " If he's ever a pain in the ass, call me baby girl." He winks and jumps away, leaving me blushing, thank god that it's dark.
" Don't listen to him" Jay takes my hand.
He says hi to I'm guessing all of his friends and leads me out of the part, for some reason, I trust him.
" How do you know all of these people?" I ask.
" My cottage is nearby and I meet these people over the summer." He answers.
Jaden and I reach a familiar bridge, I swear I have been here before. He faces me. He looks at me intensely, as if he was searching to get some kind of emotion out of me.
"What?" I ask, after a minute of being stared at.
He sighs in deception and looks away. " It's nothing" he answers.
Jaden takes off his black tee shirt, for a split second, I saw his toned abs and I quickly cover my eyes.
" Oh come on, it's nothing you haven't seen before!" He laughs.
" That doesn't mean that I want to see it again! What are you doing anyway?" (This situation has happened to me before so I decided to include it 😅)
" You and I are going to jump off this bridge." He gives me that searchy look again.
" I don't even have a bathing suit!" I say breaking his moment.
" So? Wear my shirt." He hands me his shirt and turns around.
I quickly takes my clothes off, without my bra and panties, and slide his shirt on. He turns around examining me head to toe and takes my hand.
" Ready ?" He asks with a smirk on his face.
"Always" I let go of his hand and jump without him.
The cold water hits me and when I come up, Jaden is nowhere to be found. Omg did he leave me? I call out his name twice with no answer.
I'm still in the water freezing my ass off before I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I turn around to make sure it's him, and when I'm sure, I sigh loudly.
My arms naturally reach around his neck and he chuckles.
" I can't believe you don't remember." He says sadly.
That's when it clicked, I remember everything, we were 10 and he invited Will to his cottage. Will brought me with him. Jaden and I immediately liked each other and we went to this bridge every single night without telling anyone. This is where Jaden stole my first kiss. So much has happened since that I totally forgot about my first kiss, I remember that moment like a dream.
" I don't know why I thought you would ." He says cutting through my thoughts.
There is a cold breeze and the full moon is shining on us. He looks away, embarrassed. I remove one of my hands from his neck and cup his face, forcing his eyes to meet mine. I run my fingers across his cheek.
" I do remember." I breathe. With that, my lips reach up to his and I give him the faintest whisper of a kiss before pulling away.
" I was not expecting you to do that either." He says, recalling the dare.
