Chapter 11

-Scarlett-

"You know it is extremely weird how you talk about how much you hate the guy yet here you are going on a date with him." Ashton was mumbling as he shoved Doritos down his throat. I was confused myself. I mean some weird change of events and now Lukes nice to me. Part of me, okay 99.9% of me is sure that he feels sorry for me. I mean how fast a change of events is this.

"Yes well.. Okay I have no answer all I know is I'm going on a date with him. He hasn't always been a prick to me I guess."

"I got nothing. I've spent Christmas dinner with the guy and he can be the definition of rude." He shakes his head at my outfit. "You look like you tried to much, keep the shirt and put on black jeans."

"Ashton did you forget to tell me you were gay or?"

"Oh shut up."

I haven't actually told anyone I'm going on a date with Luke. Well other than Ashton which mean Vanessa knows. I really hope he didn't tell Calum because then Violet will kill me. I quickly change into the jeans and groan. Ashton was right it is the perfect sort of casual.

"So are you like, fuck Luke you bad boy I want to kiss you now?" My cheeks heat up as I advert my eyes down to the ground.

"Don't you have Doritos to be making out with?" I watch him roll his eyes as my phone vibrates.

A text from Luke: "I'm in a car outside the building."

"I have to go now." As I grab my purse on Ashton's lap.

"Did he literally text you to come, wow Scarlett that's a keeper."

I almost sprint out the door, am I really that excited to a guy who can't come to the door?

"Oh shit sorry" the guy mumbles as he slams into me. I look up to Michael. "Oh hey Scarlett, where are you going?"

"Hey, just out on a date. Sorry I gotta go I'm gonna be late." I watch his eyes roll back as his tone changes.

"Right. Of course you do. Bye."

The car ride was awkward as hell. And I mean extremely awkward. He turned the radio on yet we could still sense the awkward silence. We finally made it to the restraunt and ordered some food. It's weird though I always thought on first dates that guys like held the door open, pulled out your seat etc. I guess I expect to much I mean he is still Luke.

"So how was your day?" His voice is so quiet.

"Uh yeah fine hby?"

"It was okay."

This is terrible. Is this seriously going to be the whole date? What a great night.

"Why did you say yes?" I want to say something but what? Oh yeah I kinda can't you get out of my brain.

"I was curious."

He didn't respond as the food got placed in front of us.

The rest of eating wasn't to bad, we made small conversation. And it was like what you see on tv. Expect a lot less laughter. It was going to the car that got me.

"You should have wore a skirt." His voice sounded much more normal now.

"Why?"

"So the wind could blow it up." I think I could hear him laughing as I began to walk away. Thankfully I kept the nikes on instead of nice shoes.

"Where are you going Scarlett?" I could hear him yell out behind me. It wasn't that far a walk back to my dorm room. I knew he didn't care enough to follow me. I continue to walk down the footpath as I car slows up next to me.

"Come on Scarlett get in the car." Luke's irritating tone yelling out from the window. "It's going to take you forever to walk, just get in the car."

"No I'm not getting in the car with you pervert." I groan as I continue to walk. The car drives away and I sigh in relief. And I sighed much to early as I see a scrawny boy running towards me. Before I can react he throws me over his shoulders and walks me to the car.

"You know this is considered kidnapping right."

"That's okay." His smug tone mumbles as he buckles me in to the passenger side. I really hate this kid I swear.

I wish I lived in a book so i could at least have a life omg. Anyways here. It's getting worse omg why do people read this.
