Remember this is not going to be exactly like the Disney movie, this will be my take on combining some of the essential ideas and reworking them for this plot. I actually think it works rather well.

"(Y/n), My dear you always have your nose in a book. Wouldn't you be happier to behold a man like me, I'll be sure to take care of you."
"Oh Monoma, as nice as that offer is..I'll have to humbly reject." You gave his shoulder a small pat before turning and placing your eyes back in your book as you started to walk away.
"Wait (Y/n).." Grabbing your wrist he halted you enough to get you to look at him again, so he began flexing his almost known existent muscles which had you doing your best to stifle a giggle. "I don't think you understand what a catch I am. My family is very prosperous, I can give you everything a woman like you desires. Money is something you'll never have worry about."
"I truly appreciate the sentiment Monoma, but..your money can't buy my heart." You gave him the softest frown before curtsying like the proper lady you were brought up as and politely excusing yourself with a faster stride in your step ignoring him when he once again called out to you.
Ducking through some of the nearby tree's you sailed into the middle of the forest, just to allude those blue eyes that sometimes didn't know how to take no for an answer. Sure Monoma was from a noble family, lived in wealth, and had good looks but he didn't make you feel any particular emotions other than annoyance.
Sighing you trailed back home and waited for the return of your brother, whom had a job of ferrying supplies back and forth between your town and the next. He'd been gone nearly 5 days, which was honestly 2 longer than what you expected. So you had high hopes he would make it back probably by mid evening tonight.
Just as you were dozing off with your cheek pressed against the middle of your book, did you hear the sounds of a distressed animal. Snapping awake you jumped up from the couch and opened the front door only to recognize the brown frazzled fur of the sweet horse that pulled your brothers carriage.
"Hey there girl..calm down. You'll be okay." You assured steadily sliding closer, where she appeared to be cautious but still recognized you to be someone who took care of her and allowed you close enough to pet the top of her head and down her backside. "There, there..that's a good girl.."
Slowly you circled her checking for any visible wounds but, the horse didn't appear to be injured anywhere. A soft frown ghosted over your features as you glanced out into the distance she must of galloped from, not seeing your brother nor the carriage. Turning back you smiled softly and hugged her mane.
"I'm glad you're not hurt, but I wonder what happened to my brother?" You questioned aloud, which the horse seemed to understand as it prodded the ground and turned around neighing softly towards the bridge. "I really hope he's not lost in the woods, he might be hurt.."
After thinking about it for just a few minutes, you go back into your home wrap yourself in a coat and come back out mounting yourself up on the horse after offering her a carrot for being such a good girl. She's actually pretty against going back over the bridge but the prospect of more delicious carrots, lulls her into being more calm and stable.
Galloping over the bridge, she takes you pretty far away from your village and towards a dark and gloomy forest that appears to be more black and burned then brown like actual wood. The moment you spot an old desolate medieval castle, your horse starts losing herself going wild and neighing like she's terrified before bucking you off her back so hard you slammed into the ground with a groan of pain.
