last, we talk about today.
"we've talked your past and future. what about your present? what are you up to, Janet?"
"i was homeless, less than three months ago. i used to sing for money for food for the night. i stole from convenience stores sometimes.
"then one day, this guy offers me a job at his coffee shop. he was kinda sassy, to be honest, he wondered why i was sleeping on the street. i told him the truth, and he hired me. no questions asked.
"we hit it off pretty well. he's so sweet and funny, and thinks i'm cool to talk to, and i think that's pretty sick.
"i'm in love with him. i told him about my family, after this jerk harassed me, and he held me and told me it was alright, and i wasn't afraid anymore."
"do you want to write a song about him?" Lara asks.
"i write for God, and for me. but now, i want to make him proud. so yes, i want to write a song about how he helped me.
"i want to write a love song."
