JUST REWROTE THIS CHAPTER, THE NEXT 7 OR 8 ARE UNDER EXTREME CONSTRUCTION STILL
When you dream your head wanders into reality. When you dream your thoughts become clear. But sometimes you're mixed up when your lost inside your mind, my dear.
His body jolted, making him bounce from his once calm position into an up right seated one. His dreamy fog dripped away as his heart beat slowed from it's rapid pace, glancing from side to side to see his tall windows aligned his room with the moon sticking to the glass.
He stood from the softness of his bed and began to walk with frustrated hands in his hair to the darkened window. He closed his eyes and took a breath in, Plagg jumping into his thoughts. "Hey, I was dreaming about camambear!" (I'm sorry i can't spell)
The little black fluff aggressively rubbed his little eyes to rid them of sleep as Adrien simply ignored him.
"I'm sorry but I feel like something's off, I need to transform!" He stood in his plaid baggy pants and black t, sleepily looking out amongst the stars as Plagg groaned.
"Wait!" He pushed Adrien's hand away, pausing him for a moment.
Suddenly he flew to a little hook that held what seemed to be a little wash cloth, but upon inspection, seemed to be a little robe."Where did you get that??" Adrien sure as heck didn't remember getting him tiny clothes, "Ladybug made it especially for me with love and care!" He greedily hugged the plush fabric to his little face, "wha-- " Plagg stuck his tongue out to Adrien, causing a little smile to ignite on his face.
"Claws out."♤}¤{♤
He pounced from roof top to roof top until his eye caught an all too familiar red and black suited girl. His smile grew but fell the instant he approached her, her arms shook and her breathing was shallow as she whimpered. Her once tall and confident figure seemed so much smaller, so much more fragile.
Her feet gave out from under her and she crumbled to the ground in loud sobs, unable to shake her head of whatever she seemed to be thinking.
Her breathing hitched, holding her breath for whatever reason as she held still against the cool air of the night.
Her hands continued to reach for her tears and captured them before they could get far as he, the so called 'chat Noir', did nothing more than stare at her. Guilt eating at his insides as she became less emotional.
He, without thinking of course, finally touched her shoulder, making her fly up in response and shock left her wide eyed at him and his remorseful eyes.
They stared.
And stared.
Finally, the silence broke along with a few windows shattering as well.
Pigeons flew through the air as well as catching their attention.
Ladybug hurried to get away from the situation she put herself in, he must think she's so much weaker now.
Along the way, memories of her becoming emotional mocked him. She had never so openly done what she just did. She never ever cried.
The image of her face beamed at him, a fake smile on display for him to view. "Sometimes it feels like I'm so unworthy of being your partner." And then she leapt away from his grasp, her yoyo flying away from him as well.
The next image seemed to revert back to a few months ago, she and he had been in the middle of a fist bump for the victory of a battle when she looked into his eyes. "I should go before I mess anything else up, see ya!"
Another image flashed through his head, "sorry to be such a disappointment, I'll go now." Her mopey voice drifted through his ears and her sluggish movements indicated she was indeed tired.
And another washed through his head as she flew away with one of the fakest smiles upon her face, the grimace of the mirror they had needed to defeat an akuma.
Where had her confidence gone?
To another lair, same old thing constantly beaming a threat.
"My pigeons and I have come to an agreement, a world dominated by them. Or, jewels donated to the cause by you!" His overly tall stature glaring at them both, suddenly something or another happened and he ended up on another roof top. The feeling of accomplishment rushed into his hand as he held it out for his partner to first bump as well.
She seemed to struggled, her face going from a smile to a frown and back to a smile. Her back faced him now, she was closer to the edge of the building that now had turned into a cliff.
She stood at the very edge of the cliff and seemed to peer down into the abyss of a deep black pit.
Her hands gingerly grasped her ears one at a time, her dots disappeared and what was left was an average girl.
Black hair set in braids on her head with a black tank top and sweat pants cloaking her, making her seem naked. He couldn't believe what was happening, but just before he began to celebrate she began to cry again.
Her body shaking with every sob as she slowly fell to the ground, her head tilted longingly at the earrings.
She threw them back to him, not a word uttered from her lips. Her confidence stood where the broken girl was and she took in another breath as she jumped down into the hole of desperation.
She just died.
He rushed to capture her, his hand grasping hers as he began to cry all on his own.
"NO!"
Her face was disfigured by the shadows as well as the rest of her body, all except her arm.
"You can't leave." His voice became muffled with sobs as well, her body now fighting his grip. Her hand beating his as she struggled with him.
Her body turned to water, dribbling through his hands and falling through his fingers and he wailed with sobs of his own.
"Y-you can't leave."
He grasped the earrings to his chest and cried as he held his own emotional feast against himself.
Just then, the alarm rings.
