Part 8

The doctor didn't really tell us anything important other than the fact that the eyeball didn't exist and I could tell Five was annoyed.

"Well, this is not good." Five said while we walked out of the doors to the outside world that was too bright in my opinion.

"I was pretty good, though, right? 'Yeah. What about my consent, bitch?'" Klaus said chuckling right after and I did laugh a little too.

"Klaus it doesn't matter." Five said annoyed with Klaus and just everyone right now.

"What? What? What's the big deal with this eye, anyway?" Klaus asked Five getting a scowl.

"There is some out there who's going to lose an eye in the next seven days. They're gonna bring the end of life on this Earth as we know it." Five said walking away from Klaus with me following him not really sure what to do.

"Yeah, can I get my twenty bucks, like, now, or what?" Klaus asked walking towards us.

"Your twenty bucks?" Five asked making sure he heard Klaus right.

"Yeah, my twenty bucks." Klaus said with an annoyed voice.

"The apocalypse is coming, and all you can think about is getting high?" Five said with an angered look on his face and his aura red flaring like flames, so to calm him down I placed a hand in his shoulder calming him down a bit.

"Well, I'm also quite hungry. Tummy's a-rumbling." Klaus said imitating a grumbling noise

"You're useless. You're all useless!" Five said annoyed again sitting down on the stairs to calm him down and I sat next to him trying to keep him calm.

"Oh, come on. You need to lighten up, old man. Hey, you know, I just realized why you're so uptight. You must be horny as hell! All those years by yourself. It's gotta screw with your head being alone." Klaus said now sitting next to us.

"Well... I wasn't alone." Five said making me and Klaus very curious

"Oh? Pray tell." Klaus said looking at Five who was avoiding eye contact with both Klaus and me.

"Her name was Delores. We were together for over thirty years." Five said making me feel a tad jealous

"Thirty years? Oh wow!" Klaus started rambling from there and I stopped listening and Five gestured to a cab so we both teleported to it.

"Don't stop. Just keep driving." Five told the driver who listened and Five looked out the window to Klaus who was now shouting about the money that Five was supposed to give him. We were left at the academy, with Allison who just wandered the house every now and then, and Ben who surprisingly wasn't with Klaus and instead, reading in the living room.

"I need to go with Diego, sorry Five." I said and Five nodded in understanding most likely wanting to be alone to do something anyway, I teleported to Diego's side who jumped whenever I did.

"Hey, Y/n. Where were you for the last couple of days?" Diego asked and so I told him what happened over the few days, and when I finished he looked at me in amazement.

"I didn't think anyone would get close to Five's cold dead heart and warm it up bringing it back to life," Deigo said making me laugh a bit, we were walking to our shared room and saw that the door was left semi-open making me and Deigo stop in our tracks. Deigo got out one of the blades he had and threw it conducting it into the room.

"Ow! What the-" We heard from inside so we calmly walked inside and I saw Luther sitting on the chair reading a book.

"I could smell it was you." Diego said and I got annoyed that now they're gonna fight over dumb shit again.

"What the hell?" Luther said holding the cut where the blade barely cut into his skin.

"You could have killed me." Luther said now holding onto the blade.

"If I wanted you dead, you'd be dead." Deigo said and he wasn't wrong we could easily kill a person if we wanted. Diego walked towards Luther who was inspecting the blade and held out his hand gesturing for him to hand it over to him and I sat on Deigo's bed.

"It's a nice place." Luther said over to Deigo who was now smiling and I was too since they were finally getting along and being brothers.

"I like it." Diego said as he took off the sash holding his blades.

"So why didn't you tell me?" Luther said now mad, and I sighed sadly that the calm friendly attitudes were quickly fading.

"Tell you what?" Diego asked not really wanting to deal with Luther's attitude.

"That you were fighting the night dad died. I checked with the guys out there." Luther said and I was a bit offended that he would think that Deigo killed there father even if he did hate him Diego would never kill someone else let alone hurt them without reason.

"Well, I shouldn't have to prove my innocence to you... or anyone else in this family." Diego said as he cracked open a raw egg and ate it like that and I felt awkward inside just like every other time he does that since I will never get used to it.

"Yeah, you're right. But I just thought that-" Before Luther could finish Diego interrupted him.

"Yeah. I know what you thought. Now... you have a nice day, brother." Deigo said venom lacing his voice.

"All right." Luther said leaving as Deigo got annoyed and put off the impression that he wanted to be left alone.

"I'm going back to the academy." I said and he nodded in understanding, as I teleported to the academy  and relaxed on a couch and just sat there for a while breathing in and out and I decided to do something I haven't done in a while and that would be conjuring a tentacle, a tiny one that wouldn't hurt me as much. I held out my arm and thought about it letting a tiny tentacle grow out of my arm before forcing it to go back into my body.

"Does that hurt you?" I heard someone ask me and when I look around I saw Ben standing behind me.

"Yeah, but when it's little ones it doesn't hurt as much." I answered rubbing the spot where the tentacle previously was.

I'm alive to anyone who was wondering also sorry I got really got caught up in everything with school but I'll be sure to update way more now that it's summer.
