Part 13

Y/n's POV
I woke up and walk out of Klaus' room and when I did I bumped into Diego and he looked at me with a worried look.

"Y/n are you okay you look horrible." He says and I smile since I can't let him know about Klaus since I want to prove myself to all of them and so I can get my other partner in crime back.

"Yeah, I'm fine Diego," I said and he looks at me suspiciously.

"Okay well I'm going to go look for Five," Diego says and it was now my turn to look at him curiously.

"You mean Five wasn't at the eye lab?" I asked and Diego nodded and I groaned since now two Hargreeves were missing.

"We don't think so," Diego said and I groaned.

"I'm going to wait for you downstairs," I said and Diego nodded and I walked downstairs and walked to the couch and sat down withBen sitting next to me.

"Oh, god two of my brothers are missing," Ben said worriedly and I nodded not sure what to do since it was two of my favorite people I know.

"It'll be fine they can both defend themselves," I said and ben nodded and we both sat on the couch and I saw Deigo pass by gesturing to the front door and I nodded and walked to the front door and saw Luther with Diego and off we went. It felt so long walking and I recommended teleporting but Diego and Luther said they were fine with walking and didn't want me to be by myself near the van which I thought was stupid since Diego's left me alone plenty of time but whatever, we finally made it to Five's van.

"This is it. He's still here. This is Five's van." Luther said rushing us to it and when we got there it was locked and after watching Luther trying to open it Diego finally steps in by lock picking it and opening it for him and I giggled a bit as they both tried to enter the van at the same time until they came over the unsaid agreement that Luther would go in first also called Luther stated he's one and Diego getting too pissed off to keep caring about who went in the car first, while Diego and I got in the back of the van and looked around his stuff and I grabbed a book and we looked through it and found various equations.

"We know where to find Five," Diego said and we got out of the van and started walking to the library. Once we were inside Luther recommended splitting up and they were fighting over me a bit for who I was going to be with then decided I was going to be Diego and we went on our search for Five in the library meeting at the top level.

"Anything?" Luther asked and Diego merely said 'no' and Luther was about to leave when Diego started talking to him.

"You wanna know why I left?" Diego said randomly and Luther stopped in his tracks then came walking back.

"What? What are you talking about?" Luther asked him since I'm guessing he agreed with me that the question was unprovoked.

"Why I left the academy," Diego said now that Luther was in hearing distance and he didn't have to yell again.

"Yeah 'cause you couldn't handle me being Number One," Luther said and I wanted to punch him right there and then.

"No. Because that's what you do when you're seventeen. You move out, become your own person, grow up." Diego said and I saw Luther want to scoff.

"Oh, yeah. You're a real grown up." Luther said with sarcasm and I again felt like punching him but kept my cool.

"At least I make my own decisions. You've never had to hold down a job. Pay bills. You ever been with a girl?" Diego asked going down on Luther and the question gained his attention.

"I don't know what you're talking about-" Luther started but was cut off by Diego chuckling.

"Look, you wanna blame me, blame us for leaving... that's okay. But maybe you're asking yourself the wrong question. Maybe it's not why we left. Maybe it's why you stayed." Diego said and Luther got triggered.

"I stayed because the world needed me," Luther said and Diego quietly scoffed.

"You stayed because you couldn't let go of the way things used to be. The Academy. Dad. With Allison. Dad's dead. Mom too, now. We're orphans again, dude. And things are never gonna go back to the way they used to... be." Diego said and Luther just turned to him.

"Do you ever stop talking?" Luther said and I got annoyed when we heard a lady ask were some child's parents were at and we went to go look at what she was talking about and when we saw it we saw Five in a corner with equations all around him on the columns and a bottle of alcohol in hand with his arm around Delores.

"Is he umm..." Luther said unsure of what to say and Diego nodded while I stared in amazement.

"Drunk as a skunk." Diego and I say at the same time. Luther then picks up Five and looks around not sure what to do.

"We need to find a way to get out without any of them knowing we left," Diego says and I looked at him curiously.

"Why though why can't we just walk through the front doors?" I asked and Luther looked at me like I was an idiot.

"You know what whatever I'll just teleport us outside the front door," I said and Diego nodded while Luther rolled his eyes, they both grabbed my arm and I teleported them outside the front door and we walked away unsure of where they were going I just followed behind them unsure of what to do until I looked up and saw the sky was dark.

"Well, we can't go back to the house. It's not secure. Those psychopaths could come back at any moment." Luther said and I saw Diego nod.

"Our place is closer. No one will look for him there." Diego said and right after he did Five burped and I laughed a bit then immediately covered my mouth as Luther looked at me with a look that made it look like he was trying to scold me but without saying it.

"If you vomit on me." Luther threatened Five who just sighed and looked up.

"You know what's funny? Aah! I'm going through puberty. Huh. Twice. And I... I drank that whole bottle, didn't I? That's what you do when the world you love goes bye-bye. Poof, it's gone. What are you talkin' about?" Five asked, and Diego looked back and I realized he wasn't listening or pretending not to listen.

"Two masked intruders attacked the academy last night. They came looking for you. So I need you to focus. What do they want?" Luther asked and I looked at Five and saw he looked slightly annoyed.

"Hazel and Cha-Cha." Five said and Diego turned around to look at Five curious about the names.

"Who?" Luther asked first.

"You know I hate code names," Diego said and I nodded since it was one of the many things him and I could get behind together.

"The best of the best. Except for me of course." Five said and I was now standing next to Diego just as confused as he was.

"The best of what?" Diego and I ask together.

"You know, Delores always said she hated when I drink. She said it made me surly-" Five started but was cut off by me.

"Hey!" I said and Diego and I turn around making Luther stop in his tracks.

"Hm? Yeah?" Five asked looking between Diego and me.

"I need you to focus. What do this Hazel and Cha-Cha want? We just want to protect you." Diego said and I nodded and Five smiled.

"Protect me. I don't need your protection, Diego. Do you have any idea how many people I've killed? No. I'm the Four frickin' Horsemen. The apocalypse is coming." Five said and right after turned around and puked on Luther and I laughed while he stood there confused as to what to do. After Five was done puking he passed out and we continued walking to Diego and I's place and once we finally made it there we placed Five on Diego's bed and Delores on a chair.

Okay this is over and I'm sorry this took so long but never mind that, also for anyone whose finished watching the new Stranger Things season I need to know if I'm the only one who cried when the heart to heart letter was read out loud and it was so weird to my mom that I cried because I don't really get attached to fictional characters that easily but whatever.
