Abby's POV:

Tony was shaking. Our patrol informed us that Nathaniel was driving to our pack house. He was holding Dylan, and trying to calm down, a sleeping toddler. I felt bad for my mate, he was scared of his brother, but still trying to be brave. The councilmen, and my father were standing in front of us.

A silver sports car skidded to a stop. Nathaniel jumped out of the car. "You! You stole my pack members from me! You lied to me!" Nathaniel tried to lunge towards me, but I just pushed Maddy behind me, and growled at him. Shadow easily restrained Nathaniel, which he shouldn't have been able to. The councilmen arrested Nathan for his crimes.

The council took a blood sample from Maddy, and informed us their family from Blood Moon wanted to see them. I agreed that would be acceptable, and the council left. Tony had disappeared with Dylan.

'Mate is upset. Find mate! Find mate now!' Zar cried out. I left Maddy with some pack member's and raced to find Tony. I found him in our bathroom floor, with his head in his hands, and elbows on his knees.

"Tony?" I asked softly, and he flinched away from me. Rose, Shadow's mate had done this. When something went wrong or really good, she relapsed to being submissive. "Tony." I reached out to touch him. He shied away from my touch. Zar whimpered.

"When will you start?" He whispered. I opted to just sitting in the floor with him. He had room to exit, but also the comfort of my closeness. "Start what?" I whispered back. "Start hating me?" He sobbed, and I could see the tears streaming down his face. "Tony, I will never hate you. I am so sorry. Today, has been stressful. This week would make anyone question their sanity." I reached out for him, but knew better than to touch him.

We had sat in the bathroom floor for at least an hour, but said nothing else. "You sure, you won't hate me?" Tony's voice startled me, it was shaky. "Yes, I am sure." Tony scooted over to me, and laid his head on my shoulder. "Even if I am more submissive, and want to submit to you?" His voice was small.

"Whatever you need, I am going to give you. If you need to submit to me, then so be it. However, I think you want to be my equal, you are just afraid, because you haven't seen that happen since you were five." Tony looked at me, and blinked. I could see he was trying to see if I was lying. "I will be whatever you need me to be for you. I love you. You are my mate." I cupped his cheek, and tears began to stream down his face. I wrapped my arms around him, and just let him cry.

Tony's POV:

Abby convinced me to see a therapist. After I broke down in the bathroom, I agreed we needed one. Me, Maddy, and Dylan all needed to see a therapist. Abby called Shadow and asked who Rose, his mate. saw. we have a family therapy session tomorrow at 1 P.M.

Sitting at pack dinner is difficult. Abby just told me to show up, and not let anything else bother me. She said I could lift my head or I keep it down. Just as long as I ate dinner. She smiled, when she saw me lift my head and answers questions that pack members asked.

I was helping with dishes, because I offered, while Abby was putting Dylan to bed. "You know she should be mine?" I heard a gruff voice ask, and I felt Z snarl. I turned to see a warrior, who was slightly shorter than me, Andrew I think. "I rejected my mate for her. So she would pick me, and she brought home you. A pathetic excuse for even an Omega." He spat. I went back to my dishes. "She will see I am the right man for her. I will she her why I will be the only to ever satisfy her." He hissed, and spun on his heel before I could respond. Z was ready to attack, but I felt like he was right. She deserved so much better. She deserved having someone like Shadow by her side. Andrew was a little more arrogant than she deserved.

"Don't let him push your buttons." Everett walked in, and started helping me wash dishes. "He is on the verge of being kicked out. He rejected his mate because he was in love with Abby, and she had rejected him multiple times. He also did because she was a rogue, and he despises rogues." I looked to Everett but he was focusing on the dishes. "You are exactly what Abby needs. She needs someone who she can be sensitive with, and strong with. She has had to hold it all together for so long by herself, that I don't know if she knows how to let someone else help her."

Everett and I finished the dishes in silence. As soon as they were done I went to find my mate, and tell her what the Andrew guy had said. I made it to our room, I heard it. The moans, and the banging. I opened our bedroom door, and there she was naked, and on top of him. Z howled, and the Andrew guy smirked when he saw me. I closed the door, before she could see who it was, who caught them. This was worse than rejection. I would have to reject her, or accept that she had lovers, and I could never truly please her. Z whimpered at the idea.

I shifted into Zehere and took off into a run. We needed to run our sadness out. 'We can become stronger, and show mate that we are worthy. We will kill that scum of a warrior. He rejected his own mate!' Z growled, and destroyed part of the forest. He was angry, I had given up.

'Don't you dare give up! We will show mate that we are the better choice! Get strong, get smarter, get faster, train harder.' Z's determination started to rub off onto me. I smiled, and made a plan. She would crave me, she would see that I was better.

I didn't return to her room. Not where they had made love, in what should be our bed. She tried to talk to me, but I ignored her, and made up the couch. She looked dejected, but I didn't care. She should feel that way, she slept with another wolf, while also being with me. I woke up with Dylan and Maddy, and got them breakfast. I got Dylan to stay with Maddy while I went and trained. I wouldn't leave the children, or refuse to acknowledge them, just because my mate betrayed me. It wasn't their fault.

"Brother. I am glad to see you training finally." Colin finally made an appearance, but something was off. He didn't have his normal smile, or something. I smelled it, he was drunk. "Can't believe you had to have a bitch stand up for you." He slurred. I growled, I didn't want him drunk or cussing in front of the kids. "Maddy take Dylan inside to Abby." I said softly to Maddy, and she looked at Colin, then away, and nodded.

"Don't talk about my mate that way." I hissed, and Colin rolled his eyes. "I'll talk about her as I please. You may be her mate, but I know it wasn't you in her bed last night." Colin poked, and Z wanted his blood, even if they were brothers.
