Chapter 6

Abby's POV:

I heard my annoying alarm clock beeping. Wait, that not my alarm. I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn't. I tried again, and got them open, but had to shut them because of the light.

"Sorry Alpha. Didn't expect you to wake up so soon." I heard our pack doctor.

"Why am I at the hospital?" I said sitting up. My ribs still felt painful, but not as bad.

"What do you remember?" He asked.

"Rogues attacking, the fight, winning, opening the safe room." Then nothing. It's just blank.

"You were injured in the fight. You punctured your lung when you shift 3 times, with a broken rib." He gave me a pointed look, and I rolled my eyes.

"Your mate carried you here, and about growled at anyone who tried to come near you. He had to be sedated." Wait, Tony carried me here? He growled at people.

"Where is she?!" I heard my mate growl.

"There he is now. I will die if he sees me in here." Doc said chuckling. I just shook my head.

"Tony!" I cried out after doc left. The door flew open, and Tony scanned the room. He looked angry, but when his eyes landed on me, they soften and he ran towards me, scooping me up. I hugged him back. He put his head in my neck and inhaled my scent. I rubbed soothing circles on his back. His breathing calmed. He pulled back, and his eyes were emerald green.

"Can I have Tony back now?" I ask softly. He shook his head.

"Okay, then what is your name?" I asked patting the bed for him to sit down.

"Zehere. I'm Tony's wolf. You are my mate. You got injured, and they knocked us out." I nodded listening.

"Zehere, you guys saved me. The doctor fixed me, and Zahra is almost finished healing me. I'm fine now. Tony can come back. I'm safe." He still shook his head.

"Tony is scared. He growled at all your pack members, he is afraid you are upset."

"I'm not upset with Tony, I'm proud of him. He thought clearly enough to bring me here. Plus, who did you get restrained by?" Zehere gave me an odd look.

"Shadow." He said.

"When Shadow's mate got rushed to the hospital. It took me giving an Alpha command, and four men to hold him down, plus another to inject him. He still did a number on us all, and that was too be able to assess his mate." I explained. Zehere's eyes went wide.

"Shadow was forgiven when he woke up, he was ashamed he attacked us. It's the protective male in you. We all understand."

Zehere nodded.

"Tony wants to know why you got so injured, so do I?" I smiled.

"Do you remember little Brian? He is the Omega with a broken leg." Zehere nodded. "The rogues caught him when he was walking home from dinner. I had to fight to save him."

"You got injured saving an Omega?" Zehere asked. I nodded.

"Alpha! You are okay, and awake!" Danny came rushing in, and Zehere growled. "Alpha, I mean no disrespect. I'm happily mated, and she is like my little sister." I grabbed Zehere's hand. He stopped growling.

"Abby, how you feeling?" Danny asked.

"Ready to get these stupid wire and tubes off of me, and get back to work!" I said with a roll of my eyes.

"No." Zehere growled.

"Zehere, I promise I am healed. You can check for yourself." He nodded and gave a head jerk to Danny. Danny left. I pulled hospital gown down to show the bite mark, which was gone. Lifted it up to show my claw marks gone.
