Okay, I got a story idea from a Tumblr ask blog I follow and it's too good not to repost here-
With a little bit of editing, of course~
Oh, and definitely a heart-wrenching ending! We cannot have a story without some of that, now can we?~
Oh, and of course. The blog I got this from was yandereralsei, go search up that blog and scroll down a long bit, and you should see the original story from them. Now, enjoy!~

Title: Kris likes Rain
Fandom: Deltarune
Characters: Kris, Ralsei, Susie
Description: Kris doesn’t like snow. Ralsei wants to not like it too.

Kris liked rain.
They told Ralsei it was better than snow. Because it felt cleansing. Because it was easier to dance in. Because when you slipped and fell, it didn’t hurt. It was just funny with an impressive splash.
Ralsei was confused. It sounded like snow was much more beautiful. And, as he loved to remind them, it came so close to Christmas. Wouldn’t that make it all the more special? Like a present from the sky?
Kris would always just shake their head in response, with no explanation as to why they disdained the snow in comparison to rain.
Susie thought it was a waste of time to theorize why, but Ralsei was possessed by his wonderings. Was it the temperature? Was it because it was only for a season? Kris seemed mysterious, but with observation, a lot of their thoughts, feelings, and preferences made much more sense.
Kris liked the rain.
They didn't like snow.
Snow didn't suit them.
Drenched in rain with a goofy smile on their face was better.
Ralsei wanted to hate the snow too. He wanted solidarity with his teammates. Susie also hated it, something about being cold-blooded.
Snow didn't suit Kris nor Susie.
But it wasn't simply a matter of deciding to hate it. Ralsei needed reasons, logic! He was already the only Darkner in the trio, he didn't want to stand out more.
He got his reason, on a beautiful, snowy day.
Kris liked to be drenched in rain. Not frozen in the snow. But even now, they were beautiful. Tawny-golden skin had taken on a strange, bluish hue. The crystals frozen on the tips of their bangs were magical, in a sense. As Ralsei’s breath caught in his throat, he slowly knelt down next to the still teen. He wished they were sleeping. He wanted to see their chest slowly raising and falling, to confirm that they were simply resting before getting up again.
But they were still. Like ice. Stuck in place with no fluid movement.
Why...?
“Kris…?”
Sticking out of the snow, only a few feet away was their outdated cell phone. Could they not get up and reach it? No, upon further observation…
They were stuck. Their foot had gotten trapped in a twisted root previously hidden under snow.
Quiet, just like the hushed environment, Ralsei knelt to pry their ankle away from the gnarled roots. So cold, so stiff…
Snow wasn’t as soft and kind as it looked at all.
Kris didn't like the snow.
“H-How long were you here? Did you try to get someone's attention?” Did the snow prevent them from doing so somehow? Their phone was so far away, they couldn’t have used it. “K-Kris... Y-you…”
His own white fur suddenly reminded him of this weather he once liked, in opposition to his friends. His hands suddenly didn't work right as he tried to push the icy, unkind snow away from covering his most precious companion’s body. They were so cold. They were cold and had fallen down, and it wasn’t funny because it wasn’t the rain!
It wasn't the rain, and Kris liked the rain!
“Wake up...please…” He cradled them as best as he could. Their body was so frigid now... “Kris, it’ll rain again in a month or so. You’re supposed to show me what’s so great about it. Y-you’re supposed to…!”
How could this have happened? It wasn’t in any of the prophecies, it wasn't foretold in any way!
Snow was unkind.
Deceptive.
Dangerous.
Uncaring.
Cold.
Snow...
Ralsei hated it. Just like Kris and Susie.
Finally, finally...
He was no longer a stranger in the group.
But it was only a duo now. Kris was no longer here. Their frozen body was proof enough of that.
Their SOUL was no longer with them, flooding them with comforting heat and letting them frolic in the rain with their friends.
Kris liked rain.
But Kris was gone.
