heyyyy

so i finally returned to wattpad, and holy sbnskn i didn't realize that this book ranked #11 in ranter;;

i'm 15 now, and when i reread the first chapter of this book i realized that i didn't really know what a rant was? i thought it was just me expression opinions, not blowing of steam

anyways, with my newly formed opinions and my love of kpop, that's what my next rant will be about!

as far as i know, these opinions aren't unpopular at all, but i HAVE to state them. the condition of most of these idols? hhh it's sad. the east light boys (i think that was the group name? i didn't find out about them until the scandal) were allegedly abused, physically and mentally :( the whole scandal made me so sad, and i don't want to dwell on it too much. to close this part up, TREAT OUR IDOLS RIGHT SBHNSK

next, ca (cultural appropriation) recently, two of my biases got into trouble because of their hair. bang chan of stray kids (my ult group) and lisa of blackpink. i could see why people were mad about this, though. long story short, hairstyles such as dreads, cornrows, braids, and more are incorporated into black history. i won't go into full depth as i'm not good with words, but i'll link the thread. anyways, since stray kids is my ult group, i know the most about that, so that's the one i'll talk about. chan got cornrows for a 3racha stage. 3racha is a hip hop unit/group that has 3 stray kids members, chan, changbin, and jisung/han. the cornrows were used to fit the vibe/aesthetic of the stage, which is why many fans, including myself, were upset. apparently he said he would clear it up (he's possibly being stopped by his company as he hasn't yet, as far as i know) the thing went on for days on stan twitter, and it only got worse as stays (stray kids fandom) who were asking him to clear it up started getting attacked, reported, and suspended on twitter. i'm not sure if he'll clear it up, but i hope he does. chan is normally so close with his fans, and i'm not sure he realizes how many people are ACTUALLY being affected by this

thanks for coming to my ted talk, i'll probably go more in depth of cultural appropriation next time i update :]
