I sat in the cafeteria next to my friend, Jungkook along with a few of our other acquaintances.Due to some unknown reason, we found ourselves getting stared at by most of the female population of our school.
Jin-hyung, who was graduating this year, joked that it was because of his undeniably good-looks that we were getting attention.
Most of them laughed it off as I just offered an uninterested smile. In truth, I didn't care for any if the guys that sat on our table. Save for a chosen few, but you get the point.
Ever since I could talk, my father taught me to never trust anyone. His experience with my biological mother had been a nightmare for him to bear.
Riches was something I owned, and something most people wanted to have from me. Good looks was a curse to bear since I couldn't seem to know which woman to trust.
I looked around uncomfortably, seeing wom-- girls looking away from me as I met their eyes. Well all except one.
The girl, a foreigner no doubt, kept her eyes trained on our table mainly on me. I stared back at her, hoping to make her look away but she just stared as she ate her sandwich.
Just as I was about to stand and confront her about it, a guy sat in front of her blocking her from me. But that didn't stop me from nearing them.
"Ya, what the hell are you looking at huh!?" I yelled at her as she didn't even flinch. The guy however, stood up and faced me, albeit he was shorter than me.
"Sorry for that kid, my sister didn't mean whatever she did." He said bowing in front of me. "And you are?" I asked, my voice with irritation.
"Jimin, Park Jimin."
"And her?"
"My name is Park Areum." She spoke out, finishing her sandwich.
"You should know when to stop staring, girl." I said, moving towards her. Her brother, Jimin stepped up, putting his hand on my chest as he muttered silently. Enough for me to hear,
"Forgive her please, she's blind."
