Michaels POV• (Monday, No school.)
I woke up with Kayla by my side, it was 1 pm. I shook Kayla to wake her up. As I walked down stairs I seen Calum sitting on the counter pouting.

"What's wrong with him?" I said making a gesture towards him.

"He's throwing a fit." Luke said rolling his eyes.

"Not true!" Calum yelled back.

"Guys be quite Kayla's still sleeping." I said looking back up the stairs.

"No one cares Michael!" They both yelled back.

"GET OUT THEN!" I yelled pointing to the door.

As soon as I said that Calum ran out.

"Sorry Michael, I know she means a lot to you." Luke said looking ashamed.

I heard Kayla slowly walking down the stairs, I ran up to her, putting my hands at her waste.

"Stay up there for a couple minutes okay? I love you." I said kissing her forehead.

If she found out Calum got mad and left she would blame me, even though half of it was my fault.
She turned around and walked back up stairs, I walked back down to see Luke looking at the ground.

"What happened?" I said.

"Rather not say." Luke said his face getting red.

"Please? You have to tell me, it's the code." I said trying to get answers. We had this thing a "code" that we all tell each other everything.

"I told Calum something and he flipped out." He said hiding something.

"Well what did you tell him?" I said not thinking I would get an answer.

"I uh..I'm gay Michael." He said tearing up.

I threw my arms around him, letting him know I was there.

"It's okay." I said.

•Ten Minuets later•
I walked in Luke, Calum, and Ashton's room. I called Calum, no answer. I threw my phone out of anger, Calum has a rocky past so him not answering was a big deal. Out of all five of us I was most protective.

"Michael what's wrong?" Kayla said walking in.

I stayed silent for a couple minutes.

"Calums gone, he won't answer his phone and he could be hurt and we wouldn't even know!" I said clearly stressed out.

"It's going to be okay, he's okay, I love you." She said pulling me into a hug and running her fingers
through my hair.
All of a sudden I heard a knock on the door, I sprung up. I swung it open to see Calum, he's been crying. I hugged him as tight as possible, being sure not to lose him again.

"Don't ever listen to me again!" I said.

"I plan on it." He said laughing.

•Five minutes later•

"Uh Michael? Why is your phone in pieces on the floor?" Calum said peeking his head out the door.
I felt all eyes go on me, my face got hot.

"Michael, dont lie." Kayla said.

"I didn't....." I trailed off.

"When you didn't answer he got mad and threw his phone." She explained.

"Now I need a new phone, whoops." I said.

"We can all pay, for the phone." Luke suggested from the couch.
There was a knock at the door, all our heads turned.

•Kayla's POV•
"We might need that money now." I said closing my eyes.

I got up and opened the door, to see my "wonderful" parents.

"Hello. I assume you want your rent, let me go get it." I said turning back around.

My mom peeked in the door, seeing Luke, Calum, And Michael.
When I came back to the door with her money she started complaining.

"Kayla, your such a disappointment. Me and your father planned you to be different, and you where going to be that way before you met that trash of a boyfriend and a bunch of waste of time friends." She said, my dad stepping at my shoes.

"I've always been this way, and his names Michael. If he's trash so am I, but he's not, he's nice and cares about me more than you two ever have. He sees other people as friends not enemy's, he knows the value of people, he knows there not something to throw away and ignore unlike someone." I shot back quickly, she tried to add something but I cut her off. "My friends, my best friends are far more better then the sluts you PAYED to be my friends, the ones you MADE me hang out with, remember them? A GOOD parent wouldn't just throw there kid away. For the first 10 years of my life, impressing you was the most important part of my life, I wanted to make you feel like the most proudest parents EVER, But you just couldn't see that could you?" I said, breaking into tears. I slammed the door, locking it.

I ran up to me and Michaels room, I fell to the floor, as if my legs gave out. I cried until my eyes felt swollen shut. After laying in my bed for about an hour after crying I got up and walked to my bathroom. I walked infront of the mirror, crying again.

"What's wrong with you? Why are so different? YOUR SO UGLY!" I said punching and breaking the mirror.

Just that second Michael ran up as fast as he could searching for me. He looked at me, I collapsed to the floor, again. He dropped to the floor, pulling me into a hug.

"How come I'm not perfect, michael?" I said tears rolling down my face.
He held me tight.
"No ones perfect, Kayla."
